lol go ahead and spin what i and others you deem cam nutthuggers to fit that narrative you've got going.

talk about typical.

did i say or insinuate that he didn't play poorly or played well? meh....not going to waste anymore time on you in this conversation. not worth the effort.

It's better to point and laugh at him.

If your comment about Cam is anything other than saying how much he sucks, MadHatter will label you a nut hugger and lifelong apologist.

The Rams are bitter because of this. And a 15-0 shutout in what 07?

I watched the first 5 mins and the last 10. I remember that game like it was yesterday.

I was stuck bybhownfast Smith was, how young Fox looked and then the joy in the players.

Those were heady times to be a Panthers fan..lets hope for more,..Panthers were tough to beat at home for several years.

Rams fans in this thread need to STFU and get lost. You are a baseball city.

If the Panthers win Sunday, we will never hear from you again.

If the Rams win Sunday, your trolling will last 3 posts before a moderator bans you and we will never hear from you again.

Panthers a 5.5 favorite for a reason and if the Rams defense doesn't make big plays the Panthers are going to win. Period.

Oh noes, their kicker is just so good, how will we ever win this against such a beastly kicker?

...said no one ever.

Vinatieri made some damn big kicks for those Pats SB teams.

But essentially you are right - good teams don't let it come down to a kicker

No one could honestly tell me that they would chose Bradford over Newton.. And if they did that poo is funny.

I'm not hating on Bradshaw, he's having a solid year and hasn't been too bad as a QB so far in his career.

However, when you look at the amount of money he is making......whew. Certainly not worth the contract. Absolutely nobody on the offensive side of the ball scares me for Rams. No one.

Nah they have no weapons that scare me at all, but their OTs have been good in pass pro this year so that could neutralize our DEs. Gonna need to generate inside push, hope dwan can come back for this game

This game is going to come down to Panthers offense vs Rams defense. If the Panthers can get into rhythm, protect Cam, and run the ball, we are going to win.

If the panthers come out (like we've seen so many times before under Ron and Cam) and aren't aggressive, drop balls, 3 and outs, give up multiple sacks, I could see the Rams winning by 3-6 points.

This is an important game for both teams. Neither team is out of the playoff race yet but a loss here could be a deathblow.

Have you watched the Rivera era..... We can lose any game. Unless we are up by 22 in the late 4th....

yup. Panthers have proven time after time that they will let teams hang around. And that usually ends up as a LOSS for us. The defense played well enough to win in the Seattle and Arizona game (especially the AZ game) but the offense was fuging around the entire game and ended us losing it for us. The Panthers are simply not a team that can get a 17-10, 13-7, etc type of score and sit back and start playing against the clock. They have to score touchdowns or they will lose.

    • Right, so basically what I said in my first post about this last night. Tepper needs to use that big wallet of his in one of the few ways it can be used in the NFL given the cap.   Give Scourton a bigger signing bonus but not a fully guaranteed deal. Everyone wins in that scenario as if Scourton is smart and hires good money people, he'll take that bigger signing bonus and use it to make more money in the end over the next 4 years than if he just had his fully guaranteed deal and a smaller signing bonus.
    • It is all confusing and layered. SB is the cash you get very soon within weeks or in simple terms, its what you get to sign the paper work. Players and agents can agree on contract but what to "wait" to sign......teams don't like that cause you can "Carlos Boozer" yourself. In order to get that ink dry, while keeping the contract the same, portion it as a bonus to "sign" and get the funds with ________ .   * But Ive seen worded contracts that split the SB or a 20% to a later date. The beans counters can fill in the details about why certain dates are better and save the team money.. Theres tricks to the trade and accounting is full of them.    Ugh another big layer, is SB can be used to manipulate cap and players. Ill try to give a example that makes enough sense. Believe it or not having a owner like Tepper is a cheat code for this. He has cash in hand, where as Mark Davis had problem making pay roll and had to move the team to Vegas....... Tepper can give you 100,000,000 SB right now and the team can spread out the cap hit. Another owner doesn't have or want to give the player 100,000,000 in cash, but offered the same guaranteed contract in roster bonuses fully guaranteed over the next few years........ Which one do you want??? Everyone wants the money now, not before another inflation waves hits in 2 years. So it does 'pay" to have a owner like tepper that's able to have real cash on hand, while it also works GREAT for cap help. Heres a good video, if you can stand coked up pat and mask look-a-like AJ
