What Ram fans are saying

We lost big to Atlanta and the Cowboys, mostly because of the passing scheme in lieu of a running game approach, that created quick 3 and outs, putting huge pressure on our defense.  I know you guys havn't noticed, but we have a running game now, where we didn't for Dallas and Atlanta, and the RB is Zac Stacy....Stacy has about a 5.0 run average per attempt, and 3 yards per attempt AFTER contact. Dude is little bowling ball, because he is of short stature, and gets lower than the defender, and pushes the pile forward.....We had NO running game in the two above often mentioned blowouts...As always, this opens the passing game, which Bradford was brilliantly efficient last game..3 TD's, No Ints..135 Passer rating

Our Defense was supposed to be a 10 Defense this year, and hasn't happened....Missed Mikell and Dunbar, from the previous year..Have Dunbar back and a couple of rookies that have played undisciplined against the run..The rookies are getting better every game, and Dunbar is back..Expect the the run defense to be significantly better...

IE, expect the Rams to be a handful this weekend.

Sorry but if you can't run against the Falcons and Cowboys of all teams, how do you expect to run against one of the better run defenses in the league? Here you are hyping up Zac Stacy, a fifth round rookie, when this defense has held the likes of Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch in check.

I'd say the odds and statistics thus far support our running game of DeAngelo Williams, Mike Tolbert, Kenjon Barner, and Cam Newton having much more success in the running game than Zac Stacy and Daryl Richardson against the Panthers.

I guess we'll find out fellas..To say Carolina isn't a hot mess at 2-4, i kind of funny as well...We have the youngest team in the league, two years in a row...They are maturing and getting better by playing, every Sunday......So we'll see who's best on Sunday!

2-3 but who's counting? Carolina is a young team that is "maturing and getting better" as well so that doesn't mean a thing quite frankly. Lets not forget Mikell is now in a Panther's uniform which certainly allows us to pick his brain to pick up on many of Bradford's tendencies and weaknesses/strengths as an offense as a whole.

Carolina is 2 plays away from being 4-1. Sure we have our issues, hence why we are instead 2-3....

But clearly, you don't know anything about the Panthers...

You don't even know the weakness we have you could exploit and instead are picking your weakness against a strength of ours as some key.

If the Rams win it would be bc Bradford comes and plays his lame short pass all day....not allowing your weak run game to get your behind the chains. Realistically, you could do that

Then you would need to somehow magically bottle up our run....to force 3rd and longs to get the chance to apply crazy pressure on Cam. Realistically, you haven't shown such ability

We win on Sunday and we have a better record than your hot mess Rams

That will not work. He threw for 117yds with 3TD against the Texans because they had a "run" game. He'll be all they have come Sunday and he better be prepared to throw for more than that to beat us. Wilson had to throw for more than 300yds (his first 300yd game) to beat us because we bottled up the run.

Short pass attacks are an issue

    • I don't think Dave touches the defense. That might be a mark against him but definitely a huge red flag for evero. He refuses to run anything other than soft zone and when you don't get pressure that's an awful scheme
    • You don't have to convince me. I think not picking up the option should absolutely be firmly on the table but I just do not see Tepper and Morgan doing that for previously stated reasons. Therefore I'm not going to bother entertaining the notion. Just hoping we actually get real viable competition. If that doesn't happen at the minimum then my perception of that is complete and utter professional malpractice.
    • It was absolutely a catch, and I can’t believe how many folks were stating, before the NFL’s apology, that the overturn was the right call.  The ultimate question in this case is this: can a player complete a catch with only one hand? Of course, we all know the answer to that question, and it is an emphatic “Yes.” T-Mac maintained complete control with one hand (believe it was the right) while the other came off when the ball hit the ground. The ball was in the same position in the one hand (watch T-Mac’s fingers in relation to the NFL shield on the ball) after touching the ground as it was when it first went to the ground. Going back to the question above, if one hand can establish control, then there was no need for the other to stay on the ball, so long as the ball doesn’t move in that one hand that stays on it   It blew my mind that they overturned this in the first place. This should not be a “We got it wrong on the replay because there wasn’t clear and convincing evidence.” This should have been, “That was absolutely a catch.”
