That was a great crowd by Panthers standards. Yeah my row didn't fill up until the end of the 1st quarter but that's just how Charlotte is. We watch a lot of nationally televised games, we watch a lot of prime time games. The fans at these games are fired up because they root for a winner and everyone is watching. I flip around the NFL Sunday Ticket and see dead stadiums all the time. Even in Pittsburgh and Baltimore. We haven't had a winning record in almost 5 years. This is why our fanbase has some debbie downers. But todays crowd was great. They get quiet at times but at least they brought some energy on 3rd down when the game was close.

The stadium was not 2/3 full either. It was closer to 5/6th. There are some seats that never sell in the upper deck because they are bad seats and not worth 50 bucks a pop. A bunch of the club seat level people watch from the bars in the club level. Very weak but they are there at least.

I was really impressed by the crowd today.  During the first fight, especially when it was clear that the Panthers were getting the better of the Rams and Long was going to be ejected, the crowd was insane.  Probably the loudest I've heard them during a regular season game in years.

The sound when Smitty got his 800th catch was quite loud as well.

I was in the front row in section 121, the best seats I've had in years, and I was quite impressed by the crowd.  Typically the closer you get, the more weak the crowd seems to be, but my section today was really into things.  I did have one instance of a person getting mad at me for standing on a 3rd down defensive play, but that's about 10 times less than a usual game.

As they announce the 108th consecutive sell-out, I can only laugh knowing PSL sales do not translate to butts in the seats.

The stadium wasn't close to being full, I'd say 3/4. And all the noise these days comes from the stupid t-shirt give away which is a distraction when you're trying to watch the replays on the smallest jumbotrons in the league.

Most noise:

1. Chris Long ejection

2. The multiple fights that broke out

3. Steve Smith reception #800 and TD # 68....

Most spirited crowed this season and the fewest opposing fans. Show up rate sucks in the club level. You have to admit the ovation for Smitty's 800 was impressive.

Agree with the poster who mentioned the 08 Mon night game against Tampa. Stadium packed and standing the entire game.

Speaking of standing........love the new videos made by players shown when opposing offense has 3rd down. Says STAND UP and make noise. Things are changing in Pantherland.

The video thing was a suggestion on Reddit I think
