Are we ready for Stewart?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  Right now Id run with who we have as it seems to be working well right now.  While I don't mind a few different looks every week to keep people guessing, I think he should be used lightly.

 

Outside of some garbage yards late in the game, we struggled against one of the worst run defenses in the league yesterday.

 

It may not be broken, but it can surely be improved. Williams is not an up-the-gut runner. While Tolbert is, the defense knows that and will stuff the middle knowing that's where he'll only go. At least with Stewart, he can go either way. It gives us more leverage.

 

While the OL is likely the culprit for most of our running issues, having Stewart back in the trident will be helpful, considering he's healthy.

want jstew 100%. it would be nice to break him in a little bit but i want him ready for division games the most.

Where's barner? still injured? Let Stew get 100% for our tougher games later in the season, if D will needs to be spelled let barner grab a couple snaps.....as long as he doesn't fumble.

Honestly I'm worried it's going to cost snaps to DWill and Tolbert.

 

Tolbert has been doing work this year.

 

Tolbert may be doing well, but we both know a healthy Stewart is the best option.  If Stewart is healthy I think he's our best back.  Problem is, he can't stay healthy.

He got on the field maybe once Sunday.  He had a couple targets his game prior.

 

They need to give him some actual rush attempts.  Late in that game would have been perfect to knock some rust off him.
