The Mobile QB

I know, I know, yet another QB comparison thread. We have played 7 weeks of football and despite what everyone thought, Newton has emerged as an elite mobile QB for the third year in a row. Personally I think Newton is getting better each Year/Month/Week. Besides Luck and Newton everyone has taken a step back from last year in almost EVERY statistical category. But, I digress. Lets go back to week 5 against the Cards... if the OL holds up against the pass rush, Newton probably never throws those picks and would be statistically the best Mobile QB in the league right now. I really don't like adding Luck into the mix of Mobile QB's, with the amount of rushing yards he has gotten this season I feel I have to.

I hate to flood the Huddle with another Mobile QB thread, I just feel like if anyone on this forum still thinks Cameron Jerrell Newton isn't the answer just take a look at those stats. By week 16 Newton might be considered the best Mobile QB in the league, anything could happen. We already have ESPN eating crow.

Wasn't there some dumbfug on here that said Andrew Luck was stone footed or some other ignorant poo?

We all knew that Cam was just as good or better than all of those guys....they just get the attention because people personally hate Cam.

    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
    • How do I activate said Krispy Kreme deal? I'm stoned man you can't be playing with me about this...
