Sheldon Williams is a free agent and I think could be a solid reserve at PF. I know he's an ex Dukie but we could get him pretty cheap and he would give us another defensive minded big guy.

First of all not trying to be a smart ass but his name is spelled Shelden not Sheldon.

Second of all he hasn't recorded any stats worth mentioning since he entered the league. When it comes to Free Agent Power Forwards look no further than these guys.

Drew Gooden- 11.9 ppg/ 7.1 rpg/ 0.4 bpg

Brandon Bass- 8.5 ppg/ 4.5 rpg/ 0.7 bpg

Leon Powe- 7.7 ppg/ 4.9 rpg/ 0.5 bpg

Chris Wilcox- 7.2 ppg/ 4.5 rpg/ 0.3 bpg

I have been trying to campaign for Gooden for the last couple weeks. He has shown he can be a solid if not pretty good starter in the league, but he could come off the bench for us. It seems like he has been around forever, but he is only 27. As far as I have read, there is no one looking at this guy right now. I bet we could get him for 2 million a year.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
