THE NINERS GAME

I know were playing Atlanta this week, and I am not ignoring the Falcons, but if we continue doing what we have been doing, we should win. After that, the biggest game in a long time for our Panthers will be coming up the following Sunday at 4:05 est. This game will have huge implications on the NFC playoff picture in the short and more importantly the long term.

I think we have a really good chance to beat them. Not just because I am a homer, but because of the key matchup of this game, the niners rushing attack versus our rushing defense. The niners currently rank #1 in the league with 153 yards per game and we rank #2 in rushing defense only giving up 79 yards per game. In addition the niners rank #31 with 189 yards per game in passing and we rank #9 in passing defense only giving up 222 yards thru the air. If we can take their ability to run away, we should win this game because I don't think that Colin can beat us thru the air. In addition Cam Newton is a much better qb than the game manager media darling Kaepernick. I believe that Cam can take over a game better than Kaepernick can. I guess we will all have to wait a bit longer to see. Go Panthers! Please beat the Failcons so that we go into this Niners game with momentum, swag, and a chance to get a firm hold on a wildcard. What do you guys think about this very huge game?

Not to beat a dead horse butttt we play the Falcons this week. That said.

We can win the miners game if we put the ball into Kaeps hands. Davis can cover Vernon Davis fine and we have Mikell that was apart of a defense that shut the 49ers down twice last season. I'm confident in our ability to win and put pressure on the 49ers defense.

I feel like they are so aggressive that if we can slow the game down and chip away we can accomplish what the Colts did. They are too aggressive and impatient to handle long methodical drives. Just a personal observation considering the margins of their wins and losses. They rarely win or lose close games. We need to jump ahead and then milk the first downs. No negative first down plays, with the occasional 15-25 yard downfield throw. Lots of Dwill in the route tree as well as Stew.

But first, let's beat the Falcons and get to 2-0 in the NFCS. Then I'd like to focus on the Pats because going into that game at 6-3 will have BOA back to our playoff years.

Aldon Smith will play Nov.10.

Dude needs to stay away from football and California. Go spend some time in Missouri and find yourself again kid before you hit the bottom.

I hit bottom and am almost back to the surface but it doesn't happen by continuing to do what you've done previously. He will be back in the news soon enough if he's not careful. Considering him and I are the same age and have nearly the same rap minus gun charges, he needs to get away.

    • It's going to take time to really evaluate new ownership. I still have some hopes that they can get us past the curse of the Jordan years. We got screwed over by the league with the lottery yet again, nothing in this draft was ever going to make people happy after that happened.
    • The Hornets were screwed when they lost out on the #1 pick. Outside of Cooper Flagg this was a terrible draft class full of risky prospects and red flags. Kon Knueppel likely won't ever be a superstar - or even a star, realistically - but he can be a solid contributor for a long time in the league. That's actually more than I think will end up being the case for many of these players.
    • I guess we should disregard what all these places say about our draft? And just trust you guys on this board? And as far as the Mark Williams trade, most places are saying we got the much better end of that trade for what its worth to yall. Bleacher report has Kon a "B", BR has him C+, Fansided A-, NBC Sports overall draft an A-, Sports Illustrated overall A-, MSN has Kon a B+, Yahoo Sports has us at an A- overall. Here is what ESPN posted:  Post-Draft Analysis Knueppel's well-rounded perimeter game and terrific 3-point shooting ultimately won out in Charlotte's decision process, with the Hornets attracted to his fit with their current roster and his long-term potential. He should help stabilize their perimeter minutes immediately, with his dependability all season at Duke a major selling point. The Hornets were thought to be exploring moves here, but were content to simply grab their guy and move forward. This is a strong match that should pay off right away for both sides. -- Jeremy Woo
