Should I go to Mexico?

Been going to Mexico for several years, couple times a year. I get interrogated more and feel more intimidated by the Customs agents when I come back than when I'm down there.

The Mayan ruins are fascinating, the people out there away from the resorts are very cool and we're thinking of purchasing a vacation home down there. We already spend $8-10k a year down there now, may as well spend it on a house.

Anyway, I think it's a great place to get away to, and while you may be staying in a resort, try to get out and see the real Mexico...

In a word, "yes."  I went with the SO this summer-absolutely loved it.  We felt like we were on a "rich person's" vacation.

We stayed at Secrets Maroma in Tulum, which is 45 minutes south of Cancún and 15 minutes north of Playa del Carmen.  You can see Cozumel in the distance from our beach.

Booked a taxi service in advance, and received the star treatment:  Cadillac Escalade and free Coronas.  That was an additional $100 for a roundtrip from the airport to the resort.  I am a lazy beach type, with the occasional exploration mixed in.

Here are a few pics:

    • Yeah, honestly being a long-term backup is at least as much about being a good lockerroom presence and accepting your role as a supporting piece and not being a greasy wheel as much as it does about ability. Backup QB requires a completely different mindset than the starter and some guys just can't make that switch. It doesn't make them bad guys or locker room cancers or anything like that, it just makes them not what you're looking for in a long-term backup. You bring in that type of guy to compete. You don't bring in that type of guy if you're not looking for competition.
    • Im saying its Tar Heel fans who would do that. I root for all Panthers to succeed regardless but college affiliation means zero to me
    • We have some good pieces.  Enough to be competitive week to week.  Coaching seems to be improving but they’ve made it much harder on themselves than needed.  There are very good reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, I don’t trust them yet.  Wins are odd looking and mostly ugly.  Our opponents have to have a bad day for us to hang with them.  A lot of that is because we still haven’t figured out the most important position and will continue until it’s solved. I think Morgan has done a nice job in both the draft and FA so far.  He’s getting better each day he’s in that position. As far as the players listed, I’m pretty much in agreement.  XL and Bryce are not performing the way they should at this point.  I will say XL could see more success in a vertical passing attack to better utilize his speed. And as always, Fug Tepper.
