Peppers as Captain

None taken, by all means none of this is personal, but c'mon! I didn't say the players didn't like him and as for the video, well okay. I watch him during the home games on the sidelines, he's not pumping up the D, he's not standing supporting the O, He just sits on the bench and does nothing. And did I mention taking plays off at all?

Yes, you've mentioned taking plays off every time you've opened your mouth and frankly I dismiss it as bullshit. Yes, he gets manhandled on some plays. That means he takes plays off because he is Superman and nobody should ever get the better of him? It happens. It happened a lot in '07, but I had inside information on that, however that's when this whole legend began and has been perpetrated every since even though he had his greatest sack season last year. You know that fvck up you had in 1st grade where you were forgiven and the whole thing forgotten about. Think about it...

:D

Allen, Ware, Freeney, or whoever you consider better DEs than Pep all sit there butts down on the bench and do nothing. When they get done doing there job on D they are suppose to rest, listen to coaches about adjustments and prepare to go back out.......Peppers isn't suppose to be a cheerleader for the offense or pumping up the D while the offense is on the field 24/7. If he was wasting time doing that stuff he wouldn't be rested or prepared to go back out and do his job. Up by a lot and the game on the line......you will see him up.

I agree Peppers does appear to not give his all every play. There are also plenty of plays where he is asked to stay on his side and prevent action coming back or playing coverage.....but fans want to complain b/c he doesn't pursue......a lot of time our conservative D is asking Peppers to stay put. The assignments given to Peppers are horrific. Sure, he is effective doing them but it takes away from the impact plays the fans are asking for and he should be making....

it makes since what Peppers said about why he wanted to leave. Everyone has commented on him not being used better......but when Pep finally steps up and says something everyone turns on him......

Hey man, I thought we were all going to have a beer!!!!

Fine by me! :cheers2:

Glad you guys kissed and made up. Brings a tear to my eye - sniff, sniff.

As has been said, it doesn't matter what WE think cause we don't know what's really going on in the locker room. Fortunately, the PLAYERS do - and THEY will make the right choice.

When it comes down to it, we all want a winning team. We just have alot of opinions of how to get there. I'll save my anomosity for the falcunts, aint's, and fuknqueers on the smack side.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.
    • Start posting in threads in the other forums instead of just creating threads. No one comes over here so you aren't starting conversations.  Get your ass up to 100 posts. It's not that hard. Don't create 100 posts. Contribute to conversations.
    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
