(ESPN) Sports Science examines game-ending call

Please do not call that "science."  The fact the Gronk could have stopped his momentum at 16 mph, planted, and retreated 7 yards to catch the ball is stupid.  He passed Lester in the middle of the end zone heading toward the goal post before Luke grabbed him.  Even if Luke were not in the picture, he does not step in front of Lester.

Because ESPN can't let it go...

They conveniently ignore the fact that Gronk would have had to teleport through Robert Lester to make the catch.

If you have a problem with the story ESPN chooses to run, please don't link to their website....

ESPN just wants a story that will generate clicks.  People don't care about the Panthers winning.  I don't even care about the Panthers winning.  I saw the entire game.  It was great.  I'm not looking at ESPN's site for news about our win though.  Why are people so concerned over whether or not NFL fans and analysts masturbate to our team's win?

tl;dr  Panthers aren't interesting.  You got baited into sharing ESPN's lame story.

The thing that bugs me the most is, let's just say the ending was reversed and Cam's pass was picked off to end the game. Do you think ESPN would waste 80% of it's air-time defending the Panthers? I think not.

I'm not saying that the Pats don't have a case (although I feel they wrong)... but the second the Panthers have a chance at getting some notice from the national media, it's wasted because at the end of the day they always find a way to keep the conversation about the same handful of NFL teams. They refund to allow the Panthers into their party. That is what bugs me the most.

I think if we make the playoffs 3-4 straight years in a row and have a superbowl appearance we'll be allowed as an honorary member of that special club.

Before BB and Brady, nobody was all over the Patriots like they are now.  I wouldn't call them a small market team, but they weren't nearly as popular nationally as a team like Dallas, Washington or Pittsburgh.  They were heavy underdogs in that first superbowl vs the Rams.  Cheaters or not, that team has earned the constant knob-shlobbin they get unlike those frauds in the NFC East (Except the Giants, they actually have been relevant).

When the Saints win like this it gets blown under the rug. Why the outrage when a low market team like the Panthers beats the pats? Typical ESPN market bias. Games over. Panthers won. Get over it Pats nuthuggers. Like brady hasn't had a million phantom roughing the passer calls.

Damn Dude....where have you been.  Have not seen you around in a while.

I was getting worried that you had slit your wrists over the Falcons season.
