Does Newton have the strongest arm in the NFL?

Watching Breesus and Ryan tonight and seeing how they float it (it works for them most of the time) and then re-watching some of the highlights from the other night had me thinking.... does Cam have the most RPM's on the ball of any Qb in the NFL?

 

Other guys I consider to have pretty big arms:

 

Kaepernick

Flacco

Tannehill

Stafford

Cutler
Roethlisberger

 

But I wouldn't put any of those guys ahead of Cam.

I think it is Stafford and Newton.

Kap had the fastest ball of the 2011 draft for what that is worth.

Probably Stafford or Cutler. Cam does have a cannon though.

I think Cam is in the Top 5 in terms of arm strength. Vick, Cutler, Stafford and Roethlisberger are the other four.

I said Roethlisberger edges out Cam.

I'd say Stafford.  Brees and Ryan have great touch, but up until a couple of years ago people were questioning Ryan's ability to throw the deep ball.

I think he is top 2 or 3 in arm strength (cutler and Stafford are up there)

 

I think his deep ball accuracy is top 2 or 3 as well (Rodgers and Stafford)

While having a big arm can be beneficial if used properly, Jamarcus Russell had a legendary arm and that meant poo in the end.  Cam is unique in that he may become a 9 out of 10 type QB in everything that is asked out of a QB. 

 

Looking forward to seeing just how rare Cam can become.
