Let's talk about Ginn

#1 I think the guy is clearly sand bagging on kick/punt returns. I've suspected this for a couple of weeks and feel like I've seen enough to make the accusation.

#2 if you're gonna sand bag on returns then make an impact as a WR... In the 2nd qtr today... In my opinion he sandbagged on a punt. The entire left side of the field was open for 6... The very next play he was thrown a screen, where if he bounces it outside it's an easy TD. Instead he goes inside and doesn't follow his blocks.

And Thank God for SuperMan on 4th down!!!! River Boat!!!!!!

Anyways, anybody else notice these Ginn things ive mentioned?

Discuss (I'm not even bringing up the 3 drops on bombs that would have been 6)

Sand bagging... Not trying hard.

I have a theory that he's not giving it his all because he doesn't want to get injured while returning a punt or kick.

I believe that he wants to remain healthy because he wants to continue to increase his snaps as a WR

Anybody agree/disagree?

why the fug would Ginn do that?

I don't think he made the wrong cut on his screen.

His punt return did confuse me, but based on what he's done in the past I suspect he had a reason for why he went straight up instead of trying to bounce it outside.  It's easy to say the left side was wide open but I don't know if it would have been.

The OP is accusing Ginn of intentionally not playing hard and intentionally making poor decisions.

Because what we had before him returning punts was even better. Also what player would do that on a contract year, after being on three different teams in his career, where one team didn't even trust him at WR.

    • Well yeah. Last time vs NO if we had had good QB play and half ass pass pro it is a different game. And that is the story more often, in point of fact, than the two or three hero games everyone wants to use to define the player.  That box was so stacked against the run it was basically impossible to break through it, you had to go over and around. It is what we knew was gonna be employed by teams and we were unable to stop them from doing it.    I am real interested to see the first 3rd and 8 and see how NO defenses it in the back end. Because they can look at that Rams tape and learn, but will they have enough fear/respect that it can happen to them or will we need to prove it again before they do?   Most people don’t learn from others’ mistakes and  need to make their own.
    • I like that Tillis is so down to earth  we will see where it goes ill say something controversial on a day that, along with next week, determines the panthers 2025  and 2026 fate  he referenced ‘money ball’, statistics and self scouting multiple times. it really makes me feel that Bryce will be back regardless of what happens over the next 4 games as that is the smart move for financial stability but by no means does that guarantee Bryce anything past that.  They will improve year over year regardless of position or who is affected       however, they will do the appropriate diligence and not cut off their nose to spite their face….it won’t be an emotional decision…unlike us Huddlers….for example, if Young’s happy ass shits the bed today, I’ll be less than pleased ..particularly having seen what they will do and having a bye week.  Brandon Staley is a good defensive coordinator and former HC.  His defense is aging but he can still develop a good game plan
    • Something like 24 now. The first 6 minutes were fun, after that, oh man. It was cool tho, a near capacity, with both teams well supported.
