Absolutely disgusted.

I bought my Tampa Bay tickets so long ago.

I promised a great time. One who had never been to a game, the other a life long tampa bay fan (respect).

It started off as a great day. My friends and I met up to ride down to Charlotte, after having had a Hardees breakfast.

We reach Uptown Cabernet on Morehead, and pay 20 bucks to park.

"My friends, we are in for a great time."

Time comes. We move towards the stadium.

The congregation of Carolina fans, underneath a bridge, singing, Gregorian chant-like, of our victory.

I had forgotten, at the entrance, that I had a pocket knife in my coat pocket given to me by my father. I threw it away.

We go in. Fun is had.

For my friend, he enjoyed the 6 points that Tampa had gotten. For me, it was watching, live, Cam Newton, run for 57 yards.

Half Time happens.

My friends and I move towards the innards of the stadium.

I had promised my Tampa friend a beer earlier, and had intent on full fulling it.

I go through a line that I had learned was cash only. No big deal.

I need a smoke. I ask the kind lady behind the concession stand, where the designated smoking area was ( Yeah I didn't read the ticket.)

I light up a half-time-didn't-smoke-since-downing-shitty-beer smoke.

After a few seconds of lighting my fateful smoke, I was asked by the concession stand "security" guy to put out my smoke, as the whole of BOA is non-smoking. My fault, I oblige.

While putting out my smoke, I reflexively hit it one more time, which was enough for this security guy to say that I was not complying.

I was then, beyond my pleading of how insane this was, escorted out of the stadium, left to my own frustrated tears, and embarrassment.

Huddlers, did I do something more wrong than unknowingly smoke in a smoke free facility, and did it facilitate me being escorted out

I had to let this out, It was an absolute frustration all day.

Have you been living under a rock the past 10 years? Its basically illegal to smoke anywhere, other than inside of your house, and for good reason. I actually don't even feel sorry for you.

That is fine. I do not agree with indoor smoking.

But I had not been to a game since I was 15, I did not know the rules.(which I understand to not be an excuse)

When I was told to put out the cigarette, I did it with no question.

I dont need you to be sorry for me, I truly don't care.

My annoyance is seeing someone else being kicked out for something as stupid as what i did.

did the concession lady tell you it was a non smoking facility?

No, Infact, she told me to smoke where I did.

But still, i understand my not knowing is not an excuse. I just dont see how the unbelievable asshole personality that this guy sustained was equatable.

yeah, that sucks. It's always that last jab that gets you in trouble though. In this case, I think you could have done with out your last puff.

pretty much this. the last puff was your downfall. could easily had been taken as a "f*ck you" by the security guy.

No doubt, if I knew my last reflexive puff on a smoke would have caused this, then i would ofcourse not do so.

I am just in a sour mood, I want to buy tickets to the jets game, but seriously, after what i went through with this asshole, I truley do not know if i want to go back.

    • In your opinion. What do you think Moton's true value in contract, dollars and guarantees? If we had not extended him, what is your plan for RT in 27 and 28? How important are good offensive linemen for our current offense? How much value do you put on protecting Bryce at this stage of his career? How difficult in general do you think finding above average tackles in the NFL is?
    • The Falcons have 2 significant offensive line injuries to start the 2025 season. Right tackle Kaleb Mcgary (who is the blindside protector for Penix since he is left-handed) is going to miss significant time, and it's looking more like it may be all season. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/falcons-expect-kaleb-mcgary-to-miss-significant-time https://x.com/BKsquared7/status/1959285822236107013. Also, the top backup and swing tackle, Storm Norton (cool name BTW) is having ankle surgery and may miss half the season. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/falcons-ot-storm-norton-out-6-8-weeks-after-ankle-surgery I don't root for injuries, but its also hard to be too sympathetic given how badly injuries have hit us in recent years. We definitely need to get that W in week 3 for our home opener at BOA. Despite our collective frustration at not being able to attend TC and then having boring preseason games, ultimately the most important objective of the preseason is to enter Week1 healthy, and we have at least done that. Hopefully the depth we think we have at Oline either shines through or isn't needed. Many other teams are in a bad spot with their offensive lines before the season even starts. For once, we aren't in that situation.
    • That roster was billed as a super smart and strong unit for a young QB….until he sucked though.   it didn’t have superstars but it had proven vets that checked well all the safe boxes and it was universally agreed the Panthers were putting him into position to succeed. BY just doesn’t fit a traditional O because he isn’t built like a traditional QB.  And he still doesn’t.   CJ Stroud would have had more success here than Bryce with that cast.   CJ just has the tools that fit the NFL more easily.  Young can find success but I have always argued it would take a Bryce centric plan (which we have never attempted IMO)
