This. Wilson is a great player, he's not over-hyped nor under-hyped. He's respected because he's a very good player. No need to belittle the man.

Wasn't belittling him. Just playing off of the misconceptions of race and position play. Boomer being shallow enough to believe press conferences after losing on a young QB indicates personality is foolish.

Ugh, the hatorade is strong with these guys...It will never change. Cam just needs to win the super bowl...this year. No B.S. Shove more crow down their throats. That's been the story of his NFL career. First it was is he smart enough or dedicated enough to be an NFL QB, then it became about his wins and maturity. Now it's about his passing numbers and accuracy. I bet if he does win the Super bowl it will be was last year a fluke. lol

They are having a hard time criticizing him because that is what they are used to doing with cam.....since he is winning now they have to find little things to nit pick about him.....to fuel their hate......

Russel Wilson is mature beyond his years....I love Russel but he's older than Cam. He's mature because he's 25 years old, played pro baseball and been married. There is nothing wrong with the Superman thing....why do all these old boring white guys hate the Superman so much....do they hate Aaron Rodgers belt? Do they hate Brady's wild celebrations? This is much ado about nothing. It's like a retired mechanic hating a car based on it's appearance. You are fugging mechanics, you should be able to appreciate the engineering.

      Especially with no other major sports in the area other than UNCW basketball and soccer. It's a good 2 1/2 hour drive just to catch a collegiate football game. If this new arena were built I would hope it also includes an Adult League - I would join up and time allowing would be more than happy to help coach some youth teams. 😄

      That was real fear in his eyes when the rope was being taken. My younger days, I had my best friend that happened to be black come over all the time. I had the nicest bulldog on the planet, my friend Damon was scared to death of him. His grandmother and daddy taught him to fear all dawgs and seen the same fear in his face and voice.    I think alllll young kids should take swimming lessons and not fear the water. Very thankful my parents did this, I no longer get in the ocean since its 50% sewage. But I enjoyed all the lakes, pools, and oceans I swam in.

      My personal opinion is the non-guaranteed contract is the main reason for NFL success. MLB and NBA players are on cruise control after their big contracts and it shows in the product.  NFL is each year you are fighting for your job. Same for the majority of the public.... You get lazy or try to coast after the 100+ million contract, your ass will be cut within 1-2 years. Then the next one will not even touch 100 million+. Besides a few NBA players like Kobe was coming for blood with a 300 million contract or 1 doll hair deal. Brandy Beal just reached a buyout where he was getting 110 million, many other cases..... I dare say his name for the hornets guy..... MLB sooo many times as well.    If the NFL starts fully guaranteeing all contracts, Id have a new hobby to fill the hours of entertainment NFL gave me.
