I love all the ban-wagoners. Yesterday on the way to the game a lady stopped beside at a stoplight started happily yelling praises to the Panthers. It makes seasons like this so much fun. Don't care much for the fanlier than thou crowd.   Ban-wagoner buy tickets from scalpers and help fill the stadium with Panther fans.

Anybody notice the "Quiet, Offense at Work" sign on the big screen?

Or how about the Star Wars theme when Luke made a play and the "Ice Ice Baby" song after every smitty catch.

Good stuff.

Yeah"ice ice baby" was a nice touch.  But I really love Thomas Davis on 3rd downs.

We do need a new sound system though.

this was an impressive outing despite being an otherwise mediocre game. almost no bucs fans, relatively quiet on offense, willing to stand up and make noise on defense (usually at the prompting of one or two fans in a section who bid them rise up.) also the wave never made it to 509.

it's still gross that so many milquetoasts beebop on out of their seats halfway through the fourth so they can go home and drink tea and read clive cussler novels and be in bed by 8pm, but hey it's a work in progress.

Hey, I wanted to miss the after game traffic. But, I took a different approach. I stayed the entire game and then went to drink more at the bar until the traffic was gone.

Problem solved

The Quiet, Offense at Work has been around for a few years now - on the ribbon screens too.  The ribbons also say Shhhhhhhhhhhh - Offense at Work and the Big Screens like you saw.  It seems like most people haven't seen them - but they were definitely there last year too.

And I despise those t-shirt guys - worst idea ever.  People are too busy trying to get a t-shirt to pay attention to the game.  I sit in a area where it would be relatively easy to get a shirt, so that may be why I hate them so.  People are idiots trying to get their attention.

traffic home was the most brutal i've ever experienced. i spent an hour after the game tracking down a lost, drunk friend around uptown charlotte, sat on 85 for an hour, took another hour detour to eat waffle house (a mistake, oof) and jumped back onto the interstate only to find it just as locked up three hours after the game as it had been after the final whistle.

Maybe it's just me, but at the game yesterday I noticed it was almost dead silent in the stadium when our Offense was on the field. Holy crap!!

It had its moments...  But, did anyone else notice?

I feel like this fanbase is growing as this team grows this season.

Like I said, maybe it's just me... bu,t I felt kinda proud yesterday when it was so quiet... and there wasn't music being blasted all teh time when we were huddling on offense as well.

Anyone else?

you hit it on the head bro. I was telling my wife on that monday night game that our fans didnt know when to cheer and when to be quiet. I think the jumbo tron is helping educate them. by the way greg hardy looked so bad a$$ on the jumbo tron when he glared at the camera. I poo'd a lil in my seat

Wow... That does sound brutal.

I guess you've not been to a game in a while. I saw a few bucs fans, but they were very quite.

I've been to every home game since I moved back to Charlotte in 2005 minus one or two. I own season tickets. The Bucs are one of the few teams that don't own our stadium. Charlotte is hands down the worst city for random fans and opposing fans showing up to our venues.

I'm very pleased with our growing fanbase because it's great for the franchise for a variety of reasons. I do, however, have an idea to shut up our new found bandwagoners (WE HAVE BANDWAGONERS, HOW FREAKING BADASS IS THAT?).

At the front gate Panther personnel should issue duct tape the size of a human mouth that has "offense" written on it.

They should also issue megaphones that have "defense" printed on them.

    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
