dont watch, dont know, just look up stats and feel like a genius! Saints are lucky Brees' neck didnt turn into a slinky after the Brooks hit

Did you miss the part where he got up, spit out a little blood, then led his team on back to back scoring drives for the win!?

did u miss Cam playing an entire game after spitting out blood?  seriously, you guys are lucky his neck isn't being sold in toy stores as a slinky.  still dont understand why such a powerhouse like the stains are an average road team and why breesus is like Schaub on all the pick sixes he gives up.

You mean when he was given the fumble back that likely would have been the nail in his coffin that day?

they were so lucky his hand slid up the front of his shoulder pads a few inches and into his neck while blasting him, otherwise the ref's wouldn't have had to help them out with that.

Facts say otherwise, look at what happened after that, at the time of a Fumble, is was at 35 yard line with just under 5 minutes left and Saints with all 3 time outs down 20-14. The next time 49ers got the ball, the 49ers went on a 3 and out drive that lasted 17 seconds, went 7 yards and used one of NOs time outs.

So basically based on average punting and return, Saints get ball around 20 yardline, about 4:13 left in game with 2 time outs down by 6.

The next drive, the fair catch penalty moved the ball to 40 and Saints crossed midfield and went all the way to 13 yard line in 1:41 using a time out.

So basically that puts the Saints down 6, at 13 yard line, moving the ball at will 3 drives in a row, with a time out remaining and 2:32 left with also two minute warning clock stoppage. Since they only needed a FG for win, they let clock run down and kicked FG from 13, but they had a first down at 13.

Also if they kicked the FG, the next drive by 49 ers was a 59 second 3 and out, so even with FG, the Saints get ball back with just under two minutes to get another FG, which they moved the ball down to 13 yards line in 1:41 on previous drive.

So bottom line, Saints were moving ball at will and 49ers were getting do instead by the defense and going 3 and outs, so with just under 5 minutes, all their time outs, there was little chance that was the "final nail in coffin". Also don't forget a muffed punt giving them some free points, or a pick six fumbled through the endzone to erase an interception and 7 points from Saints that also led to 3 point, that's a 14-17 point swing on just those little self induced mistakes and that is the only reason 49er were even in the game.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, WE DO HAVE A GREAT DEFENSE. Now tell me does experience mean nothing to you, do you think our defense is just going to walk into someone else house and obliterate other playoff competition. How many of our defensive players have been to the playoffs???????

Who can say with certainy that they won't or can't. That's why they play the game.

Yeah, didn't read.

We both know NO got lucky with that call....it was a HUGE call. Those type things happen. No need to try to convince yourself your Saints didn't get saved by that call. You can find one of those for most teams

Its whatever man, all you can put cam in the hall of fame after his third year because of what you see in the box score if you want. I still have a couple questions if all of you want to take them as negative comments go ahead. I do believe team has a chance to do something they haven't done in a while, but I think superbowl is still some ways off and upgrades on the roster. The team is playing great overall but I question certain areas.

There it is. I believe you have a problem with Cam. Do you mind telling us all who ur favorite college team is? And regarding questioning certain areas. What team doesn't? Let's be real. No team has to be perfect to win a super bowl. They all have flaws. They just have to be the best. Nobody can say If our team is or isn't till the seasons over. The bottom line is we have been winning and a lot with Cam and this defense. Nobody here is putting too much stock into all the wins or even if we were to lose to the Aints on Sunday. We're just happy to be finally winning and obviously heading into the right direction!

Lucky like Saints losing 7 points fumbling a pick six into endzone, or muffing a punt to give them 3 points? That's 10 lucky points in a 3 point game, the better team won, stupid mistakes were the only reason they were even in the game,

    • I really appreciate Bill explaining his methodology here because that gives interested parties a chance to try and recreate the results themselves. I believe that it's safe to assume that despite emphasis being placed on WRs that Chuba Hubbard is one of the Panthers' top-5 weapons. Considering targets, yardage, receptions, etc... Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette are also on the list. Jalen Coker's success might have snuck him in there as well. I can't draw a conclusion on who #5 is though. I've narrowed it down to Diontae Johnson, David Moore, Ja'Tavion Sanders, and possibly Rico Dowdle if they're taking into account his production for the Cowboys in 2024.
    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
