Every quality team has had at least 1 horribly embarrassing game this season. Don't let this one get to you.

The true test of a fan who understands what it takes for a team to get to the next level, is see games like the one last night, learn from it and move on. Dwelling on the things that is simply part of the game of football, isn't going to help the situation.Fans who see every win as a badge of honor, really don't understand what the game f football is all about and their focus is very narrow.

Last night's game for the Panthers was over as soon as the team missed on scoring on those two first quarter drives. I called it while I was watching it. But I didn't give up on them. Things just didn't go their way last night. The RB couldn't get the running game going. The Receivers couldn't get open, and there is only but so much you can ask from a QB who was switching between One Read Options and going through his progressions to get something out of last night's game but it wasn't meant to be.

Even the defense showed they weren't 100% on top of their game last night. Drews had all day to throw the ball and was throwing to whomever he wanted to because they always seemed wide open.

The TEAM lost last night but those things will happen.

All I hope is, this team continues to do everything they can to get stronger and don't turn a lose into a string of loses. The true test of a winning team is for the Panthers to do exactly what the Saints did last night, go out and win next week.

Title says it all.     We're still a high quality team.   We're still playoff contenders.

Don't let this loss  upset you.    We will bounce back,  like the other quality teams have bounced back from being embarrassed.

I am with you 100% poo happens. Suck it up and start winning again.

Because of the loss Sunday night  the Panthers are again under the pressure of having to win. This is what LT Jordan Gross had to say.

("We've kind of been in that position since we started in that 1-3 hole," Gross said. "We've been in must-win [mode] to get in the playoff picture. Nothing has changed as far as that goes.")

("We might have a better sense of urgency now than had we won. I'd rather get our butt kicked this week than four weeks from now. It's frustrating. Now the ball is out of our courts as far as the division goes, but we've got a good team. Still no need to panic.")

That was the message throughout the locker room. Newton called it a "great measuring stick for who we are and where we have to go."

even Vegas knew what was up. classic logical loss time. not many teams win 9 straight plus in the NFL.

we got a bad game out of the way and we see what the saints will do at home.

Seattle got lots of sacks due to COVERAGE. Not just the pass rush. Carolina has a very hard time getting coverage sacks.

I'm not losing any sleep over this game at all.
