Should Ron be fired or kept?

Full Disclosure: I didn't read the thread after seeing the OP's title, and due to time constraints. 

 

I've been one of the biggest critics of Ron in the past. But I think it's unfair to raise this question after a loss (albeit a bad one) last night. 

 

Yes, the coaching was unimaginative, and the OL, WR's, and secondary stunk [to high heavan] last night. But it's still one game. 

 

Let's see what Ron Ron does the last three games, and how aggressive he and the coaches are, and how they adapt?

 

Yeah, let's see if he has a chance to blow out the Saints at BOA, if he does, etc.?

 

No need to be emotional. It was a good Ye Ole Fashioned Thrashing last night!! Now we move on.

We WILL make the playoffs, that said, if we do not go all the way, Rivera will stay and we need to improve the O-line and secondary in the off-season.

I looked at the schedule when it first came out and I expected seven to eight wins, we have already exceeded those expectations.Last thing I want too do is start all over again.....lets built on what we have achieved this year.

He has to end this season a winning coach if he wants to stay. Three seasons being a loser won't cut it.

 

Then that would mean you want him to be retained. We are 9-4, so the worst we could end the season would be 9-7.

If Carolina loses out and misses the playoffs is the only scenario where I'd say they should even consider firing him.  The ultimatum for him before the season was playoffs or bust and as of right now it looks like they're going.

Lol the Huddle. Where a coach can win 8 games in a row and then lose and  be questioned if he should be fired at 9-4. How many other fanbases would talk about their coach being fired at 9-4?

Nah they were 10-6 and missed the playoffs. As I speak, we are 9-4 and currently the 5th seed in the NFC. Completely different circumstances plus the Bears were dumb for firing Lovie Smith in the first place. Their defense is atrocious this year.
