Operation Barbarossa is upon us...<edit> Operation complete!

Considering where we are as a franchise, with so many young players at key positions, this may be the most defining weekend in franchise history.  Careers may be made or broken 3 days from now.

For many reasons, including this message board and the camaraderie it has developed in me, this has been my most favorite year ever as a Panther fan and I hope this ride does not end with a whimper.  This game may well be the catapult for Cam, Luke, Star and Ron, the definer for CJ, TD and Kalil and the finishing touch for Smitty and Gross.  I think we can have an effect on Sunday's outcome, but only if we act as one.

If you have a ticket...if you are going to attend this game...plant your ass in your seat at 12:30.  Prepare yourself to yell until the blood vessels in the whites of your eyes burst.  Prepare yourself to tell the good doctor behind you to fug himself when he asks you to sit down.  Prepare yourself to forgo food at halftime so that you are still in that same seat when the 3rd quarter begins.  Prepare yourself for the valleys and the highs that will inevitably come in this game.  Prepare yourself for the game of a lifetime.

The siege is upon us and spirits are high.  We go into battle together.

Operation Barbarossa failed...so shall the Saints.

Panther Nation rise up!

Now, more than you ever have before...KEEP POUNDING!!!

Victory will be ours.

operation barbarossa failed because the invading team couldn't handle playing out in the elements where the defending team was trained and primed

if this is history repeating itself the saints will charge hard in the first half, stagnate in the third quarter, and then freeze, die, and implode for the final 15:00

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
