A thought while looking at KC's offense.

Unfortunately, that nice KC offense stalled miserably in the second half (along with their defense). Lol

Can't really blame the offense for yesterday's game, even if they did make some mistakes.  With a top ranked defense, 44 points should be enough to win a game.

If someone told me that we would score 44 points in next weeks game, I would like our chances a lot.  :)

That if Dwayne Bowe was worth the money he gets, he would have the presence of mind to understand the situation and make a better attempt to get his feet closer together. He had length advantage over the DB and it showed. Alshon Jeffrey made that catch several times this year.

Still not making sense I see. Here's the gif of what happen. Ball behind him, tight coverage, had to reach back for the ball. When he caught it he was leaning away due to the tight coverage, thus slightly going out of bounds.

Better throw, i.e in front of him and away from the DB and he doesn't have to reach back and shade his body weight out of bounds. Fact is him being supposedly high had nothing to do with the throw just not being good enough.....

The throw was perfect? You throw it two inches in front, he is still heading out of bounds. You still can't throw it much better than Smith did last night.

Lol. Did you even read my post? 2 inches in front of him and the whole dynamic of the way he won't have to shift his body weight and he'll be in bounds.... easily....

Terrible defense, horrible game management, and nutting up in the second half in general caused KC to get exactly what they deserved yesterday. The injury to Charles hurt as well, but that's no excuse to lose a 28 point lead.  Smith and Bowe were balling, pot or not. You can't blame the loss on them.

There's also know reason he should be standing up at the end of the play if he made a real effort for that ball, he should've been dragging.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
