Who's Your X-Factor For Sunday's Game

Cam. He has a history of playing the post-season throughout his life. Will he continue playing like a god in the post-season in the NFL?

If Cam is completely unleashed this game and is able to do whatever he absolutely wants/needs to do, that bodes well for us. If Shula elects to take the game out of his hands with bad playcalling and not calling plays with good check-offs, we will struggle.

The running game. DWill will have to have a couple big runs that change the game.

if running Williams is the gameplan......we lose.

He he had 8 of 31 rush attempts last time.  He doesn't need a big role.  Tolbert/Stewart do.

Answering this question with any other name than Cam Newton is wrong in my opinion.

He is the biggest X-Factor in the game.  If he is able to make plays and limit mistakes, we win.  If he can't hit receivers and turns the ball over, we lose.

These types of games are the sole reason that QB's are paid such a premium.  This game is Cam's time to shine and establish himself amongst the elite, or to falter and slide back into the pack below the elite.

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
