WalterFootball: Charlie Campbell

If Matthews fall to us in the draft, I would consider that three years in a row where we get an all-star at a position of need. (Of course many of us thought we didn't particularly need Kuechly at the time)

Im telling you Matthews is going to make instant impact. Still, teams are going to pass up on him bc he doesnt have the things that going to wow scouts at the combine. Similar to Keenan. I really do hope he falls too.

That'd be four straight years of hitting the jackpot! (Cam, Luke, Star, Matthews).

There are several good WR's that could be available at the end of the first.

I think the OT's however, will be a better find if one drops.  Then get a good WR in the second

I agree.

Im in favor of taking a WR bc it is such a huge need. Lafell, Ginn, and Hixon arent going to cut it.

But, if an OT is there it'd be too good to pass up. Ogbuehi's stock is rising, but if he is there you gotta take him. It'd be hard to pass up on Antonino Richardson too.

The WR class is too deep that we can double dip in the 2nd and 3rd and will be able to find talents.

(1) Antonio Richardson

(2) Jordan Matthews? / Devante Adams / Jarvis Landry / Donte Moncrief

(3) Brandon Coleman / Kasen Williams / Jared Abbrederis

Instead of Ifo I saw that he had Dennard going in the early second, imagine Dennard then matthews and Moses? Wow

Yea, I saw that too.

Too bad Ifo is returning to school. Ifo would be a perfect match to our defense bc he's a zone guy. Dennard is more of a man press (shutdown) guy. Some guy(s) on here have brought up Revis not meeting Lovie Smith scheme, but still I would not pass up Dennard if he was available. Doesnt matter what scheme we play.

I'd be damn pumped if we landed Dennard, Matthews, and Moses. However, I believe that Dennard will be the first corner off the board.

I think Benjamin is a second rounder.

He is pretty raw

I told you guys in my recent 2 round mock projections that he could really be there in the late 2nd.

BUT, not bc he's raw. I really do not see a raw receiver in Benjamin tonight. Auburn is just playing damn well defensively. Benjamin is not going to catch a lot of balls too; only 50 rec before tonight's game. He's a big target down field (19.1 avg).

However, Benjamin could drop bc like I've said before only having "one" productive season and that's with the best QB in the nation. Plus, I do not see Benjamin improving his stock at the combine. he's not the fastest guy (4.5) and wont be tested physically/athletically great. Other guys like Beckham especially, and Landry, Moncrief, Cooks, etc. will benefit from the combine that will be able to push Benjamin down.

New Release:  WalterFootball's Mock, not Charlie Campbell's.

(has Benjamin to Baltimore at 17)

(1) Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee  :) ;) :)

(2) Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor :startle:

(3) Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss  :) ;) :)

I love the Richardson and Moncrief picks! SMFH at Seastrunk in the 2nd round. For whatever reason, this guy keeps mocking a RB (before was Carey) to us. I dont think he know that we already have a hundred million dollar backfield.

Disappointed with guys that he passed up for Seastrunk: Odell Beckham Jr., Bradley Roby, David Yankey, Jarvis Landry, and Brandon Coleman.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
