Draft Kelvin Benjamin

I think I would prefer Benjamins over Evans because due to lack of NFL QB every catch Evans made were unconventional. Every highlight is about Manziel running all over the place and then heave it to the wide open guy. It would have been nice to watch Evans operate with a QB that can step in the pocket so he could finish his route instead of broken plays.

I see your point, not all the balls thrown to him are off manziel's scramble though. Probably not even half, it just so happens that those are the highlights shown most often. I even think it's a bigger testament to see a receiver of his size be able to get open after his route and/or on a scramble, could be one of the best at doing so.

I think evans gets alot of his catches because of johnny not the other way around. He doesn't separate very well and pretty much just boxes out corners for his catches. Not that he isnt worth a first rounder,just my opinion.

Obviously didn't watch the highlight vs Alabama he did it all: separated, blocked, jump balled, and got off the jams. Def a top 5, probably top 3 WR in the draft. Not saying I'm sold on him but if he's available hard to pass on him.

I have to disagree.

 

Evans is a stud. Huge down field threat and very explosive with the ball in his hands. Evans leads Watkins, Matthews, Landry, Beckham, Cooks, and Robinson with catches of 20+ yards. He also has sure hands only behind Landry with a 3.51% drops percentage.

Loves Beckham but pretty sure he'd be long gone. Same with Moncrief. Would love to have "KB" and "Coleman". Imagine that receiver duo. Two 6'5" receivers added to a 6'5" TE (Olsen) with another 6'5"QB in Cam throwing them the ball. Good luck NFC South corners. Yall midget corners can get out of the way.

So you think we're going to take another receiver with our second round pick?  I was thinking we could go after another receiver maybe with our 3 or 4th round pick.  But hey, they doubled up on DT's last draft.  For argument sake's, let's say we did take another receiver with our 2nd round pick.  My choices would be:

 

(1) Martavis Bryant - 6'4

(2) Brandon Coleman - 6'5

 

*Of course, if KB is still available, TAKE HIM.

 

Now, let's say we didn't take a receiver with our 2nd round pick.  Either we traded that pick or went after an OT and decided to go after another receiver later on in the draft.  Potential guys I would like to have that should be available would be:

 

(1) La'Damian Washington - 6'4

(2) Bruce Ellington - 5'9 - he's projected to be a 2nd/3rd round pick, but I think he's going to be taken a little later.  His height may be an issue to some NFL scouts.

I can't get into Adams, I've tried and watched and watched for something to pop out. It hasn't. To me his game compares to Josh Huff as far as being tough and possessing running back-esque skills with the ball in his hand. But Adams is better with the ball in the air, but far less explosive than Huff. I don't see how these guys are separated by 2-3 rounds.
