As long as Jenkins is there  Im fine with that 2.

I like all the three TEs a lot. I just wouldnt prefer to go that route as my first option. I get that Rivera was really high on Eifert in the past draft, but it doesn't really make sense. We need down field play makers for Cam to throw to. This two TE set is intriguing but it's really just an imagination. Fans get too caught up with Brady, Gronk, and the criminal up in NE.

It'd def help the offense but it will take time to develop an Amaro, Ebron, or ASJ. The TE position for a rookie to come in and contribute is just a little harder.

However, I would be fine taking ASJ if he was BPA + Gettleman addressing WRs through (1) FA and (2) Draft. I just wouldnt invest everything in a rookie TE and expect Cam to dramatically lead this team pass the Divisional round next year.

All about value. Anything you get at 28 will not be top of the line but the real value in this draft will be rounds 2-3. with so many underclassmen coming out this year(record breaking) someone is going to get some steals on the back end of the first all the way to the third.ASJ wouldn't be my pick if ebron and amaru were on the board but thats unlikely. Also would go with benjamin if he were there but with cleveland picking before us i dout it. ASJ has the best hands and catch at the point of attack of anyone in the draft. And he may be more pro ready than most due to his ability to atleast come in and be a decent blocker which none of the other tes really can do at this point.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
