Even outsiders noted the officiating

No, because he was in the pocket about to get hit in the back, and then he turns around to get away from the rush and pretty much collides head to head with skuta. What the hell is he supposed to do? I would say Cam was a runner after he decided to spin around and try to get out of the pocket.

Notice what you just said there... "try to get out of the pocket"?

Do you even know what words mean?

So you're guy rocking Cam's head back with his helmet isn't a penalty?

Okkkkkkkkkkk...

Why? Because he's Cam and he deserves it? You don't think that flag would have been thrown if that had been Peyton Manning taking the same blow to the head?

I do agree with the 9er fan on that, I think that call was kinda garbage. With that said, the reason it was called was to give the illusion of "fairness" when the game was all but decided. It would have taken a miracle for the panthers to pull out that game by that point. The penalties and obvious bias in the first half, when the game was not only in doubt, but favoring the panthers, was far more damaging to the panthers team than 1 makeup call in the 4th quarter of an already decided game.

The officiating was the difference, statistically we beat the 49ers even with the flat 2nd half.

The bad calls literally gave the 49ers at least 10, maybe 13 of their points in the 1st half.  Totally different ball game if you take that away

I'm not sure what you were watching. The two long drives we had were largely penalty free. The one at the end and beginning of each half. There were a coupe (one, maybe two) bad calls and you guys are acting as if every single flag was a blatant non penalty.

Again, Cam's head was ROCKED back by the blow the 9'ers defender put on him WITH HIS HELMET.

Why is this so difficult for some to understand?

Everyone noticed and only homerish 49er fans don't want to accept that they had help.

Would we have won the game? Don't know, but it sucks to not get a fair shake.

Yep. The worst thing about this whole thing is that after this entire season of work our guys never had a fair chance in this game--our first playoff game since 2008 (welcome back to the playoffs, Panthers?!). I felt like they were playing quite a bit better than the 49ers in the first half, but the refs were sending a message with the piling on of penalties against us and no calls against them even after having it pointed out. The Refs effectively neutered our team.

Helmet to helmet is helmet to helmet is helmet to helmet. It's a personal foul no matter who/where/when.

Refs still suck.

i watched the game that happened.

9ers first FG was setup by the bad roughing call, which Aikman and company pointed out at the beginning.  Otherwise was 4th and 10 and 49ers are punting, instead it  setup that FG.  3-0 9ers

Second 9ers FG was setup first by not calling Holding on Willis which lead to the INT, then on ANOTHER 3rd down bad call on the "head bunt" which instead of Punting....again put 49ers in FG range.  6-0

Then, after not calling multiple 49er Head bunts by Boldin and company the BS that happened at the end of the first half that got the 49ers TD and 13 first half points, all based on the Refs handing them to them.

I'll give you the first roughing call that led to the first field goal. That was an iffy call.

The int was not holding. Thats called jamming a receiver out of his route. Keuchly was doing the same thing to Gronk the whole Patriots game. The head butt that led to the second field goal I don't think should have been called, but you guys were initiating most of the after play stuff.

The play on anquan boldin head butting was not much. Definitely less than what Mitchell ( or Mikell?) was penalized for. Either way, there was no penalty so it didn't lead to anything.

Pretty much, you can blame them for 6, maybe even 9 points, but the game was in the 49ers favor most of the game.

The difference in the game, in my opinion, was the two drives inside the 5 for you guys that ended with a total of 3 points. That lost it more than anything else
