Did Star and Short wear down?

Steve Smith said on radio a while back that corner Melvin White hit the "rookie wall" pretty hard.  Even so, Smitty praised White as a hard worker and a student of the game and predicted he'll be better next year.

I'm wondering if anyone thinks that our top draft picks, Star Lotulelei and Kawann Short, might have had a little of that "rookie wall" themselves late in the season.

What say you?

No. White played more snaps than them, so that's definitely a factor. Star and Short were fresh for the 49ers game. Short had a good game but went unnoticed. Star was also good as well.

Its hard to believe that an UDFA played more snaps this year than a 1st rd pick. Someone in the scouting dept deserves a raise.

Not when you consider the positions they play. You don't usually rotate corner back. You very typically rotate defensive tackles.

Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
