how interchangeable are the atomizers/clearomizers?   will i have to stick with the same brand as the battery, or do they all pretty much work across brands?

ego k 650 starter kit for 10$:    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2P41270941

have to order juice separately though

oh you just have to pick one out by thread count

With the ego k 650 you'll be able to use 510's with it. > here or here

You really get into the crazy options once you get into the itaste, zmax's, provari, vamo's....ext... or higher price range's.

It really just depends on how much you want to spend and what your taste are as far as the options go.

I'm probably going to go with the itaste VTR when I get my new one.

Some one was smoking them in a theater. That's just wrong. Smoke in front of the screen

Yeah that is wrong. My rule is not to vape anywhere I wouldn't smoke. That generally means all indoor public spaces. The only exception to this rule is bars. But even there I always ask first and surprisingly they're usually cool with it.

Protank 2 mini with an EVOD battery is what I use. Buddy of mine opened his own shop and makes his own juice line so I know what's in it, his Caramel Candy flavor is the poo. I probably wouldn't have even gotten in to it if he hadn't given all of the stuff for free. Started out with an eGo Battery and CE4 tanks and almost quit before I even got started. I try to keep it as simple as I can, no rebuild atomizers and variable voltage stuff.

Yeah, that poo is annoying. People think that just because they can technically get away with it, then that means it's ok. It's dumb asses like them that will fug it up for everyone else. I can see if you are in a bar or something, but use some common sense.

I recently toyed with the idea of opening my own shop. It's a relatively simple thing to start, but the benefits are 1. a growing market--these things are starting to get insanely popular--and 2. huge profit margins. After taking a look at the wholesale price sheets and knowing what brick-n-mortar and online retailers are selling them for, just...wow.

How's your buddy's shop doing?

He is doing quite well and is about to open a second location for his wife to run. He contacted all of the major manufacturers like KangerTech and set up wholesale accounts, and all of his stuff is name brand and not clones or knockoffs. But the secret to his success is his liquid, people drive from other towns that have their own stores to buy his juice. He started out making the stuff for another store and it took off so well that he decided to sell it his self. The profit he is making off that liquid is insane, plus he still sells cheaper than the stores that have to buy it. 4 ingredients is all it is, and a little math.

That's very cool news. Really speaks to the popularity of the vaping movement. So does the money being shelled out by Big Tobacco to try and get e-cigs regulated like tobacco. It's taking a significant part of their customer base and they aren't too happy about it.

DIY e-liquid seems to be a big money maker for a lot of the more successful brick and mortars. It's the thing I'd like to try and tackle next. And yep, just some VG, PG, liquid nicotine, and concentrated flavors. That's all it takes. There are some awesome online juice calculators that will tell you the volume of each you need to reach desired ratios. And if you do it right, not only can you get a completely customized-to-your-liking juice/flavor, but it's much cheaper than anything you can buy from a vendor. Good stuff.

For me, the best thing about the DIY liquids is that you can do your own quality control. If you read around online and see people talking about all kinds of weird chemicals being found in the vapor, (if it's even true) most of that poo was bought at gas stations or bodegas and is straight from China. Hell, they can't even make kids toys without having lead contamination, so I really don't wanna be vaping that poo. Just don't buy your components from sketchy offshore vendors and you should be fine.

I really like my little set-up that I use now. He is all into the big ass mod's and dripping atomizers. To me that stuff is a little over the top. I prefer the convenience, but it is a matter of personal preference for sure.

Yes he does but his new homemade stuff taste horrible. .

I don't know who you buy from locally but there are a few new shops that opened recently in Summerville, one on Old trolley rd. (haven't been there) and one on Bacons Bridge rd. (A Vape Escape) that I go to often. It's owned by a young couple and they will custom mix for you. The guy's name is David his wife mixes the ejuices. They have a lazy susan type table that you can sit at and sample all the flavors you want. His ejuice is a little cheaper than Charleston ecigs.

I use the ego mystart 1300 batt and a SmokTech Tumbler BCC tank. best tank I ever used. I was smoking 2 pks a day and had my last cig March 7th. I do order regularly from ECBlend.com because I use the 36mg Nic mixed with a 24mg. of another flavor. Can't buy that local but David's wife did say she would mix 36 for me if I wanted it, I'm just used to a particular flavor on ecblend.

I need to check them out..I also have the mystart revolver 1300 has the best battery life so far.I found my flavor at Carolina Flavor on Savannah Hwy. They carry a Flavor Art mix called Madagascar it's a vanilla mix but doesn't have that after taste like ecigs flavors have. It's not as good as my last stuff but I will survive.
