8-8 until I see the draft and Camp Wofford, and make sure we are healthy going in.  Also want to see how Jerry's beloved league puts the screws on us with the schedule again.  A season finale in Charlotte for the first time since 2009 would be a nice olive branch to start with, but you know they are going to skew everything to the advantage of the Katrina Pity Partiers.

We get the last game away every year because of the Belk Bowl. C'mon man....it's not a conspiracy. They're not out to get us.

Not buying that one. Tampa has had home finales on Sunday and the Outback Bowl the day after.

Right...it's the day after the NFL game, not the day before. They're not going to let the Belk Bowl tear up the field before an NFL game.

And you're "not buying it"? Go look at the dates and you can figure it out for yourself.

Tell the Belk Bowl to stick it then.  Although with an SEC addition next year, it may finally be halfway worth a poo as a game.

 

Seeing the 'Carolina' and 'Cincinnati' seeping through our end zone fonts during the playoff game two weeks afterwards sucked though.

Haha...agreed. Hopefully the game will be better.

I hate it because it means we usually get the Christmas game as a home game. I'm hoping to go out west for Christmas this year and the Christmas home game will screw that up.

If we can go 12-4 when we are technically still trying to build an offense surrounded by Hurney's ashes, I think we can do 12-4 or better again.

      We're definitely not going to get the benefit of the whistle anytime soon. Teams have certainly been getting more physical with us since that first Pistons loss. We responded with many upcoming wins by playing very physical basketball ourselves. That's what it's going to take. If it means some fouls along the way so be it but the team has to set the tone. But either way we need more offense closer to the rim. We're right there with GS for most 3PA. And the Warriors are also backing their way into a play in game. We shouldn't be wanting to emulate that.

      Honestly this feels like a coaching problem. They have a certain "type" with "flaws" that they believe can be coached, the issue is mingo, XL, and others have not took to this "coaching". I thought the one group panthers would excel in would be WR, given Dave, brad, and Moore backgrounds( WR coach was a solid NFL WR). Just a wealth of WR coaching, but........ I also feel BYs confidence in XL is one of the main issue, its their relationship. I think BY trust the following- tremble, Tmac, Coker and that's all(maybe new Metchie) . There was a vid and XL and BY were repping together. I do feel if you put XL with about any of the top QB, you'd see some good numbers at times and you'd see a NFL WR.

      It's cooled off because teams are coming out and pressing them and fouling them 35ft out, the backup Knicks are holding jerseys and getting away with it and that's been a repeating theme over the last few weeks.    Teams are coming out and applying pressure closer to halfcourt, playing tough physical defense, grabbing jerseys and the like to get them out of rhythm and it's been effective.
