Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Game Thread

As for the game, this streak Durant is on is just ridiculous. If Westbrook comes back at his normal level, they may win a title post-Harden trade. Which I didn't think would be possible looking at the past couple of years. KD has made another leap it seems and is coming for LBJ's crown of not only champion, but best player in the world.

LeBron is still far and away the best player in the world he scores less than KD but takes less shots. he avg more rebounds and assists, he is the best 1on1 defender in the league, and he shoots a higher percentage. He is the best. You can compare them that well because durant has to score on his team while LeBron doesn't and he is a team player who enjoys getting teammates shots just as much as getting himself shots. Even last night, LeBron outscored Kevin Durant who is supposed to be coming for the throne, and he outscored him while taking 4 less shot attempts. And if you watched that game like I did, LeBron could've isolated on Durant every single play and just gave him the business with ease because any time he wants to he gets to the basket. KD is more reliant on jumpers which is always going to be less consistent than driving. LeBron is by far the better player but I don't deny Durant is playing out of his mind right now.

So the only football games you watch are when the Panthers play?

nobody said that.. when the panthers are playing, I watch the panthers. I think that's what he meant.

with that said, I love watching lebron and durant and since my antenna picks up almost every heat game for some reason (no bobcat games of course) I usually do.

was a fun game.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
