Lions cut Louis Delmas

Delmas is still relatively young and was actually healthy last year. Lions want him back but he's gonna listen to other teams before deciding.

Yeah first thing that came to mind was his injury history. But he didn't miss any games last year. He missed 8 in 2012, 0 in 2011, 1 in 2010, and 1 in 2009.

Be interesting to see if some of these better defensive guys want to come and play in Carolina for a little less.

Ward has spent most of his career on the losing end. If he wants to play for a contender, he'll have to take less.

The Browns has a lot of money to use. Ward is one of the top safety in the NFL and is going to get a huge contract. He's not going to turn down $8 mil/yr for around $3-4 mil to just play for the Panthers. Joe Haden cried like a baby after one of the game this past season and what's the rumor going around right now? Haden and the Browns are talking long term.

Players in the NFL dont really get to choose their destination compared to the NBA. They take the first contract offered to them.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
