Charlotte is engaged in contract buyout discussions with Ben Gordon, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

 

 

 

 

I find it interesting that they aren't holding onto him to try and trade him in the off season before his contract expires. Either way, he's gone.

Can't trade an expiring after the deadline, he'll be off the books before draft day. He has no value other than capspace at this point. Might as well speed things up by moving him out and grabbing another big ASAP.

the point is, Gordon lost the respect from his team mates etc when he disrespected the previous coach.  yeah the coach was in over his head but still, you show respect because hes your coach.
