Overrated yes, worse than Byron Bell?!?! C'mon man.... Bell was so bad that he had to give away his shoes so people would like him.

Yes. Bell is bad but we exaggerate a lot how bad he is.

How many Ravens games have you actually watched? Oher was awful. Crappy in the run game and poor pass protection. He gave up a lot of hurries and hits and gave up 8 sacks.

Do not want.

Quite a bit since I go to college and Virginia and almost all of the Ravens games come on CBS in Va.

Oher is not a bad player and should be a starter in this league. He was very, very good two years ago and has even played some right tackle making him versatile.

And I agree, Byron Bell isn't nearly as bad as we make him out to me but he's still a back-up at best.

At the end of the day with hardly enough players on the roster to even fill out an offensive line, all options should be open.

Oher got demoted to RT for poor play and the Ravens want nothing to do with him, since he played just as bad at RT.

Much rather start Bell at RT than spend money on Oher.

That second statement is inaccurate, according to PFF, Oher graded out as the best RT in the league for a few games.

There's also been talk that Bell might be moved to LT (we'll see...), and if that happens we will have a whole to fill at RT: insert Oher (if he's cheap).

Oher is awful.  High draft pick + has a movie based on him keeps his name big but he barely qualifies as a starting tackle.

Pretty sure Howard is a poor player as well.

If we want a franchise tackle this year we need to hit him in the draft.  Lucky for us, in this draft would could get that guy in the 3rd round or later.

Best RT? What? How did he end up with a -12.6 rating then?

In 2011 (week 8), Oher graded out with a +5.9 rating as a RT. That grade was the best grade for a RT in a single game for the entire season.

In 2009 (under Matsko) Oher graded out with a +11.6 rating at RT.

He's struggled since Matsko left. With what we have and with the limited amount of money we have; there is no reason not to see if Matsko can get Oher back on track.
