I'm sorry to do this and in no way am I trying to be rude or funny here but what does "shows to go ya" mean? I've heard "goes to show ya" but never the other way. Is that just a quirky little thing you do or what? I'm completely serious, do not take this as an attack I'm just curious.

It was something I heard my grandfather say. And yeah, he was a pretty quirky ol man. Just a twist on the "Goes to show ya". So yeah, you pretty much hit it.

Thank you, that explanation has freed me from losing my mind.

That's really cool that you adopted that from your gramps. I respect that. Now I can see it and not want to stick sharp objects in my eyes.

I am so glad we got that cleared up. I am not sure I could handle the responsibility of you losing an eye because of my grandfather. He was a pretty cool ol guy, but hey, even he would say that he wasn't worth losing an eye for.

Lol, now I'm just being funny(poorly I might add). Back to talking about Smitty and G-man or whatever this threads about.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
