Nicks is at least a proven top tier weapon when healthy. He played hurt last season and still almost put up 1,000 yards. 6/60 for a guy with 25 starts in 7 years would be really dumb. Anthony Collins is good however, but he is unproven. Not even the elite OT got close to that much.

These moves makes it obvious that we are fully expecting to have a long term deal for Hardy. (Maybe there already is one and it's not been announced yet)

Also if need be, CJ can restructure to create room. If we are desperate, Olsen can be extended.

All that too say, we have cap space.

We need a LT more, imo. We have a better chance of getting a #1 WR in the draft than a quality LT. Also, with more time to throw, lesser WRs can get open, kinda like a good DL makes a secondary look better.
