What kind of nightlife? LoDo is where all the kids goto drink. But they do have 1 Up near the baseball stadium, if you're into older pinball and arcade games.

Your biggest problem is going to be choosing what local beer to have. I recommended anything Great Divide

I like my Oscar Blues haha

G'night is awesome.

I'm not so much into the college scene but more like a younger mixed-professional crowd. I've heard good things about uptown around the park. Last time when I stayed in Wash Park ended up hanging around The Highland area and Uptown.

Gubna is what the men drink. At Oscar Blues they offer beer they don't sell anywhere but at the brewery.

The average IPA is about 7%. Be prepared.

That Gubna looks great.  Double and Imperial IPAs are my go-tos.  10% imperial...damn.

Congrats man, where you going to school?

I have spent seven of the past nine years here and have no interest in ever moving anywhere else.

I'm going to UCD downtown.

In total I've spent about 1 1/2 weeks in Denver so am just super excited.

Oh, it takes about 18 days to adjust to the altitude. You'll feel fine the first couple days but then you're going to get headaches, feel tired, and the urge to buy me beers at Shelby's. It's the craziest thing right?

I lived in Wyoming for a bit so am familiar with that side of things.  Shelbys though aye? noice

    • frank, that ball was very catchable where it hit his hands. I don't even think he bent at waist until after he dropped it. He actually slows his pace to position himself to catch the ball. That will never be a pass I'd blame on the QB.   NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-54-54.mp4
    • https://overthecap.com/position/left-guard   Lewis is the 9th highest paid Left Guard in the league. I bet it was higher when the deal was done two years ago.    https://overthecap.com/position/right-guard Hunt #3 highest Right Guard   There is a tab in the upper left portion of the graphic that allows looking at the different positions.
    • It was a great play, but a better catch than throw. The TE boxes out Moehrig for position. Jumps to catch the ball. Catches it and turns 180 degrees while he's still in the air. Comes down and toe taps to stay in bounds and lunges for the goal post. That first part where he boxes out Moehrig for the ball is huge. If he doesn't do that and simply fades back to catch the ball (this is why Bryce doesn't trust XL), then Moehrig likely undercuts the pass for a break up or INT. Stafford trusts his receivers to make plays for him. Here I slowed it down so you can see it. Great play but amazing catch and score by the TE.  NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-45-32.mp4 NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-44-37.mp4
