You're the last person on Earth.

Awesomeness!!

Recommended Posts

You have just woken up from a much needed afternoon nap. You turn on ESPN, but get nothing but static, channel after channel. You grab your phone but the web isn't working. The same is true for your laptop. Your texts can't be sent, and calls can't be made. You wonder around your house, stepping on pizza box after pizza box wondering what is going on. You open the front door, and find the street quiet. Empty. You notice the sound of...silence. You walk to the local gas station, but nobody is inside. Minutes turn into hours. You realize you're the only person you've seen all day.

Shitty set up aside, what would you do if you were the last person on Earth? Every other human being has disappeared, and you're all alone. Would you steal a car and drive somewhere you've always wanted to go? Rob a Mcdonalds? Rob a Bojangles? Rob a Churches Chicken??

Mmm literally I would do a bunch of drugs, steal and drive every car I ever wanted. Move into a million dollar neighborhood as well.

I would probably constantly build and assemble things to try and keep my sanity. Read a ton of books. Set up a home theater and watch a ton of movies that I stole from surrounding areas.

Eventually I would go crazy and possibly off myself in a dramatic fashion. It would be hard to travel by air or sea so I'd be pretty limited to where I could go. Plus if there is no one there to share it with it wouldn't be that much fun. Imagine 30+ years by yourself. You'd be a nut case.

Interesting that the only things you mentioned as possible things to do were committing crimes......interesting indeed.

    • Where this conversation goes south continuously and becomes bitter and contentious is when the discussion involves his "improvement". It is not hyperbole to say we started out the first two games of the season with some of the worst QB play in franchise history. We're talking amongst Jimmy Clausen. So when someone comes in and says Bryce played at such a high level in the last stretch of games he even surpassed Cam Newton as a sophomore there's not going to be any logical conversation to be had at that juncture. We can talk in a reality based context or we can talk in an echo chamber context. Only one is going to foster productive dialogue. Anyways what's done is done. We need to focus on the now. Now Bryce has an offensive line we've invested a ton of salary cap space in. He has a formidable backfield. He has a significantly improved WR room including 2 first round picks the last 2 years one being an 8th overall pick. He has one of the better TE rooms we've had in years with actual young promising talent instead of jags like Ian Thomas taking up salary cap space. He has a young up and coming offensive head coach. Honestly this is probably the best situation any QB has had entering the season since Delhomme in 2003. The foundation is there for any QB worth his salt to showcase high end franchise QB ability going forward.
    • Like they were comfortable with their pass rushers last offseason?
    • We have 2 startable cbs, good defenses have atleast 4 startable corners. We are in a pass happy era, base defenses have three corners on the field and dime packages with 4 corners are becoming incredibly common. We have zero depth at corner, if Jaycee or Jackson miss any time we will be torched in the air. Also Mike Jackson is an outside corner only, he is a big zone corner with below average change of direction and agility he would be a bad fit at nickle.
