  1. Past hour
  2. I just spit out my coffee. Holy poo.
  3. Interesting. A HoF QB is not an authority on the position. I mean, everybody is guessing to an extent, but Kurt Warner obviously knows the intricacies of the position at all levels, as do other QBs who have played at all levels.
  4. Get this one. Please just win this one. Florida has become my least favorite team over the rags.
  5. https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/194031-tua-and-bryce/#comments Fun thread to revisit Weeeeeeeee.
  6. Ladies and gentlemen. Bryce Young's "ceiling".
  7. The Hornets finally got a solid showing from the combo of the big three and blew out the Lakers in LA. Can't stand those MFers. That is a sight to behold. If they can ever find their footing in the consistency department maybe there is hope for the future.
  8. Panthers twitter in general is catered to people who are complete homers who likely never experienced the best years of this franchise. People with business relationships to the team are going to follow that model. If that's not someone's cup of tea it's best to seek other sources.
  9. Tomlin probably wants another head coaching job, but I'd love to see Dave bring in somebody that can help him with game management. I don't mind him calling plays, and I don't mind him managing the game, but I think at times, it did get to be too much for him. If you could bring in somebody like a Mike Tomlin, compensate him well, and just let him make or help with some of those game management decisions, I think it frees Dave up to concentrate on play calling a little more.
  10. I think both he and TD were pretty critical of the team following the 2nd Saints game, and/or the Seahawks game. They made some pretty, what seemed to me, pretty honest takes. But as many have pointed out, he’s still going to say more positive things being a team employee. the only former panther I’ve heard talk about the team that seems pretty neutral is Jake Delhomme.
  11. Today
  12. It’s called being a homer but Kurt Warner is no authority either
  13. Don't expect criticism of the team from people who still have working relationships with the organization
  14. I think most former players are cheerleaders to some extent for their team. The difference seems to come if they move into some sort of tv role. You rarely hear the Fox/CBS Sunday group talking about the teams they are associated with during broadcasts. You have to be mindful a bit on Panthers reddit, because I am pretty sure there are fans that didn't know the team existed before Tepper and Young came into the picture.
  15. He has said many times hes a diehard Panther fan. Being a former player he is going to be very pro player. I don't think its a conspiracy but just someone close to the individuals.
  16. Cant take him seriously because he likes Bryce sounds about right for around here
  17. OK, let me first say that I can't get any Twitter link to embed--using "X" or "Twitter" or whatever, and I'm tired of trying. Now, I must say that I see Panthers stuff in Facebook on occasion as I'm part of some group, but I see Panthers stuff even less on the cesspool that is now X, but as a follower of the official Panthers Twitter, stuff pops up on that feed too. I guess that I shouldn't be surprised that agents of the organization would be putting out tweets like this: He's not even trying to be objective. It stands to make sense though. In order to get better information, you have to go to national sources like Kurt Warner. I'm not necessarily trying to pick on J-Stew, per se, but I can't take him seriously, as even some past Panthers players, like Greg Olsen for example, don't seem like they're just trying to cater to Panthers Nation, just saying hollow words to make everyone feel good. I just wonder why here on the Carolina Huddle, there seems to be more objectivity, or at least more critical thinking and serious discussion than most other social media sources on the Panthers. It's interesting. There is a significant difference. For all the changes and the seeming decline in popularity to whatever degree, the Carolina Huddle still has its place and plays a big part in overall Panthers fandom. We want to be happy, joyous and cheer for the Panthers, but we aren't necessarily trying to shoot sunshine up people's derrières either.
  18. Us if we give Bryce a big contract. But worse since what we gave up.

  20. It's called being in the NFC South. You forgot that quickly how we got in, huh?
  21. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47625428/oklahoma-qb-mateer-lb-lewis-return-final-season There goes another one.
  22. There was. I remember because of how much fun I made of it at the time.
