  1. Past hour
  2. That seems to be the way it is playing out. We still do have next year but I want a QB next year unless Bryce is seriously not the same Bryce. So if a legit 1st round LOT for some reason happens to fall to us at 19? You have to take him. Need that 1st for maybe a QB in 2027, in case we would go Deal with Icky later, but he is an unknown as of the present.
  3. Just looking at the free agent moves.. I can't see tackle in the first round. Sure it's possible, but you sign the best tackle available in walker, you sign stone, you have Ickey returning at some people and who's to say they don't bring back say brady Christensen or so. That said that's a lot of tackles your pay and all of them can't start. Your not drafting a guy who can't start Day 1. And if healthy walker and Moton are your day 1 starters.. that leaves us at tight end safety center(there isnt one in the first I don't think) DL and nickel which aren't that big a need and safety
  4. I personally dont care at all about that. Like Mccaffrey and Thomas Davis and Burns and Stewart and D'Angelo. What matters is the career. But chances are, like I said, they start a good number of games.
  5. It's so obvious that the split is imminent. At this point it's gonna be a shock to everyone if he's back next year.
  6. lol, apparently I also basically said the same thing in that thread (except for the XL part, which the idea of grew on me during this season when he still struggled)
  7. Mixing liquor and beer fugs my world over. How was the hangover today?!
  8. I said this before he was traded to Washington and people here wanted to pick him up. Not only is he still living off that one season, but he also needs to be used in a very specific and unique way to even try and replicate that, as he really didn't excel in any one area that year, he was just a unique jack of all trades that season. I also still think that if the team were to fully buy into the idea of it, we could turn XL into a similar type of player that Deebo was that year. Not a downfield threat, but a guy who gets a few handoffs, a few jet sweeps, some short crossers to put the ball in his hands early and let him run. We need to accept that XL just isn't going to be a great WR, but he could be a useful gadget guy in a role of Deebo or Cordarelle Patterson. But it would take full buy-in from both XL and the team as he'd need to work on his return game and handoffs over downfield receiving.
  9. Which we literally dont have any at the the moment. I wont cry if we go tackle at 19 but man I would love to get a sick Dlineman or corner if one falls
  10. Deebo is still living off the reputation of that one stellar season he had, but that was five years ago and it's a huge outlier of an anomaly in his career.
  11. That's his buyout. What's likely going to happen is that he resigns and we pay him out his buyout anyway which was honestly always the best path forward.
  12. We literally have a national championship within the last 10 years and another championship appearance. In this period of irrelevance (I'm guessing "relative" was supposed to read "relevant") we've won 10% of the championships and appeared in 20% of the championship games.
  13. I can't see Allen wanting to leave the Chargers again, but if he is open to it, I think he'd be an outstanding pickup for us. He's still a pretty good slot WR, but he's also a guy that T-Mac and Coker can really learn from, basically a Thielen type of a pro's pro, but a significantly better player than Thielen was at this point in their careers.
  14. The positions, as I see it, that we are zeroing in on in the first three rounds are: - OT - CB - DL I strongly believe we will be walking away with some combination of those positions in Rounds 1 - 3. I was hopeful that we might be looking at LB or S, but I don't think that's the case. Right now, I'd love to get: Round 1: OT Caleb Lomu (I think he has the traits to be a top tier LT in the NFL) Round 2: S AJ Haulcy (This guy would transform our defense. He's a monster.) Round 3: DT Domonique Orange
  15. Today
  16. Philips, and Lloyd were first round picks. They are proven, and were just added via cap versus picks. Obviously the offense still needs to catch-up to other NFL teams.
  17. No (and will probably never be an inline TE). Capable blocker against safeties, corners, and lighter LBs, but no chance he can block down linemen or stronger LBs. His route tree is running down the seams and screen passes (from his tape at Oregon). So pretty much nonexistent.
  18. Equal parts bad and unrealistic draft... Going beyond how much I don't like Sadiq, Logan Jones in the 2nd is a stupid reach, Jacas likely doesn't make it to the 3rd round, and Abney definitely doesn't make it to the 4th round.
  19. i would love this pic. absolutely. this is the only position of need we haven't signed a big name in
  20. The chances are that start games. We had different starters almost every week on the OL last year
