  1. Past hour
  2. AT was basically Greg Olsen-ish for Bryce. In so many ways. He was keeping stuff on right page and really more of small TE than actual slot WR out there. Canales isn’t going to be able to just insert Hunter into that role on the O that AT was doing. Hunter is a true slot WR. And a niche one at that. Might take some time to try to figure out plays/calls really insert Renfrow into. Thats not really Canales’ base what Hunter does so well
  3. Terrible. Texas has had 4 or 5 drives that started near midfield and have nothing. OSU is defending champs but they lost 14 players in the draft, including a ton on the DL. It looks like they don’t trust the heisman favorite. Maybe this is why he couldn’t beat out Ewers. Maybe he’ll pick it up but damn this is his third year in college. It feels like a game plan when you have to start a freshman or third stringer due to injuries.
  4. Yea that was just a bad throw and decision
  5. Told ya’ll on the AT trade threads. Realistically you have 3 starting WR in the NFL. You are now one injury away from David Moore or Jimmy Horn starting. I’m sure the 4th or whatever the hell it ended up being was worth it.
  6. Other note: I like this Australian punter that Texas has. The fact that I've seen enough of him to say that doesn't really speak well for them though
  7. One thing about Manning: I would say his throwing motion does remind me of his uncles, but that doesn't necessarily say anything about his ability.
  8. It's too early to call him anything at this point. I don't necessarily think he's bad, but he's not that good, and he's nowhere close to Manning good. I'd agree the preseason Heisman favorite bullsh-t is because of his last name.
  9. 1st start on the road against the defending national champs, literally the hardest game you can start with. Sark isn’t calling a good game and the run game isn’t helping. Perfect storm for him to look like trash and I’m not surprised. If he looked like this against some trash team then light him up.
  10. You do understand this is the NFL? Staying healthy is not the norm.
  11. Yea it’s true but they need to stick with the run game. I just think what Sark is asking him to do against a very good Ohio state defense is still a lot
  12. Hunter Renfrow is a good plan B for Jalen Coker .that's the positive of all this. big fan of Jalen Coker & hopefully he is good to go go here real soon ...just saying
  13. Related Note: To call the offensive playcalling at Texas "gutless" and "vowardly" would be an understatement
  14. How can that be. He looked fantastic last year against Southwest Texas State hair care and tire changing college. But seriously, it is to early. I don't understand the people who want to anoint him as the best when has barely played. If he had a different last name, most of us would barely know who he is.
  15. I'm sitting here watching a Manning look better as a runner than a passer It's way too early to judge him of course, but that's where he's at right now.
  16. Tbh, I feel like AT’s strongest attribute was his leadership, presence, and in-game knowledge which includes helping everybody on offense know what they’re doing and looking at. Yes, he out up surprisingly good numbers considering how much slower he looked here compared to his prime years in Minny. But in terms of his ability to get open, I don’t think we lose anything going to Renfrow in that role. If anything, in terms of ability, if Renfrow can hold up, I think he’s a more explosive version of AT. My only real concern is what we lost in on-field coaching from AT.
  17. The Panthers were very fortunate Renfrow was available and agreed to come back. He's the perfect slot replacement for Coker. I think Renfrow will step in seamlessly into the Adam Thielen "safety blanket" role for Bryce Young. This Jalen Coker injury will turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
  18. I'm trying to stay positive on it. Crazy going from out of the league, cut, to starting W1
  19. Not really concerned about it if Renfrow is good to go. Coker is the more direct Theilen replacement but for a Bryce type QB a guy like Renfrow's seems perfect. A guy who can get open immediately and can do a little something after the catch
  20. Going from cut at the 53 to starter week 1. Only this organization
  21. Hunter Renfrow CARWide Receiver#13 Panthers signed WR Hunter Renfrow. Renfrow is back with the Panthers mere days after being cut, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Panthers can better use Renfrow’s services now after they traded Adam Thielen to the Vikings and Jalen Coker (quad) went down with an injury. Renfrow could see a good amount of work from the slot in at least the first four games of the season as that’s where the team planned on using Coker. Can a Hunter Renfrow PPR scam work in 2025? I guess we’re going to find out.
  22. Yep …meanwhile in Minnesota, we made Thielen’s dreams come true
