  1. Past hour
  2. Not a promising center class for day 1 starters. There's a couple of intriguing prospects, but none that you can really look at and say that guy is starter material. Lew, Slaughter, Hecht and Jones seem to be in the top 5 on most rankings projections I've seen, but even so, don't know that any of them are ready to go day 1.
  3. Good for him! I always liked him and he deserved to get paid. I wanted him back, but it's a deep draft at C and we can't afford to over-pay the whole line.
  4. #1 player i wanted... I wanted someone more proven to pair with our young guys. I would have rather payed a little less for someone with his injury history however
  5. @fitz what do think of these- https://safrsports.com/safr-helmet-covers/ here's some tiktokslop vid for summery.
  6. i mean a lot of people say a lot of things about their equipment, but at the end of the day we don't have a lot of reliable live action data on concussions in game because, well... /glances jaxson dart
  7. I knew he wouldn't last long on the market, C needs to be a priority in FA.
  8. The Steelers secured veteran cornerback Jamel Dean on a $36.75 million deal, beating out the Giants and Raiders in free agency
  9. its like a weapon tho. I think there should be the same amount of padding on the outside as the inside. plus I seen one new idea-
  10. Was just about to post this. Major win for us, haha
  11. Can't argue that shrugs we are just fans though hope for the best, I watched a bunch of eagles games last year and he passes the eye test. Honestly not any worse than jaycee horn

  13. that's without tuas 99.2 million.......
  14. The helmets don't matter, unfortunately. Just like the tight neck compression things Just like the mouthpiece and hyperbaric chamber that dan Morgan used.
  15. Oh wee mayne, that's a big concern as we well know from our experiences with Luke, our current GM, Oher, etc. Anyone who follows the fight game knows that once the concussions start piling up the chin just doesn't recover. Once that jaw is cracked it's a real tough row to hoe.
  16. As of March 9, 2026, the highest contract in Carolina Panthers history by total value belongs to outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips Jaycee Horn (CB): $100 million (2025–2029) A four-year extension signed in March 2025 with $70 million guaranteed. At the time of signing, it made him the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history by average annual value ($25 million). Cam Newton remains the franchise leader in total career earnings from the team, having been paid over $127 million across his tenure. Other major historical deals include Taylor Moton's 2021 extension worth roughly $71.25 million and Christian McCaffrey's 2020 extension worth $64 million.
  17. I mean....I guess. Panthers obviously needed a pass rusher. Just not sure its this player at this price tag with his injury history. Cap isn't real etc but that's an eye watering amount of money for him.
  18. I honestly do not even know how to find those every place i see them listed are behind a pay wall and are not really considered real stats I guess. I do know he was 25th in nfl in total sacks but hopefully he will be awesome for the panthers.
  19. which is why the better be damn sure about bryce before you extend him. That will cripple your team
