Its the same play from the Jets game where he is "throwing " to a spot. But he was way off and he cannot see the safety reading the play. They clearly watched tape on him.
 -
Take the ball out of Youngs hands, run the ball with Rico, and play defense. That's the game plan.
 -
	True story.
 -
Regardless I just don’t understand what happened here. Conditions like that less anticipation and more power is needed. However he felt the pressure and decided to throw it too soon. of course he should have just hit Coker underneath.
 -
I see what you did there.
 -
I see it. I just dont see us grabbing the NEXT Qb-I think we draft developmental. It will be interesting to see what Morgan does, however, if Sellers is on the board...We like the Gamecocks in round 1.
 -
Ngl, there is a part for me that is really hoping they surprise us and start Mike White down the stretch. He couldn’t be worse. In fact, if he’s able to hit the opportunities over top we’re given, this could be one of the most dynamic offenses in the league. Rico is doing what he’s doing against defenses that don’t give a fug about the passing offense or the threat of a pass. Imagine if they had to respect the deep ball.
 -
It is, to me, like paying millions to assure, at best, mediocrity. A player is worth the $50m if he puts blue/black jerseys in the seats. Does Bryce? From the business perspective, that would be my concern. I want stadium full of Panther fans.
 -
	Gotcha!
 -
I don’t want to see Dalton again but I stand by my characterization of him compared to Bryce. Even in his decrepit advanced state he can make more NFL throws than Young can. And normally gets the ball out. Or got it out. It’s over for him afaic but it should tell you something that a washed old ginger can make more NFL throws than our boy wonder. Nothing personal.
 -
I can see them not getting open and running sloppy routes. And when Bryce escapes the pocket i can see no one working to find open space. So both can be the reason our passing attack is inept physically limited QB and ordinary pass catchers
 -
He needs to take shots downfield. Period. He actually isn't as bad with intermediate throws as some give him credit for. But dinking down the field is too many plays and opportunities for something to go wrong. They need chunk plays from the passing game. He can throw deep enough. He just doesn't.
 -
you just quoted one of them.
 -
From that angle it shows he literally didn't see the safety
 -
Can't evaluate our pass catchers properly with Bryce at the helm
 -
Huddle peeps. This is where we are. Arguing if our #1 overall pick is better than Andy Dalton. And folks on here want to give him the 5th
 -
He would probably be #1 cause he is Bryce's crutch
 -
Yeah, but he threw it when XL was on the 7 yard line. A dart would have been to a different location. He was trying to lob it to the back pylon but the wind took it off course and wobbled it even more than it already was. A tighter spiral on the lob or a throw similar to the TD he threw to XL against Miami would have been better. Gotta learn from that. I don't think he lobbed any more in the game.
 -
If Thielen was here hed still be our 2nd best WR and that's not good. Whether it's Bryce or someone else going forward were never gonna light up the passing game with our pass catchers
 -
I guess people don't understand what ceiling means
 -
No. Bryce has a lot of faults, but he at least stays calm in the pocket, can extend a play longer than a second, and is way better at 3rd/4th down conversions than people give him credit for. Dalton would panic and get sacked or throw it nowhere close on 4th down
 -

 -
300 yards games will never be typical. He is just not kind of QB.
