  1. Past hour
  2. Anthony Richardson is the closest thing to Josh Allen as you could get, if he could get the right staff. He played 12 games in college, he should have sat for three years before ever starting in the NFL, period. I’d be fine trading for him if it was for a late round pick. Sign a bridge QB, let him stew, hiring some offensive people from the Bills who knows how Josh’s development took place. that said, Josh is one of one period. He’s a good human being, great teammate, great leader, intelligent, big, fast, physical, and he can throw a ball 65 yards on a rope. It really is crazy considering how he looked coming out of Wyoming. The crazy thing is that most every player you see in the NFL, the Panthers have had the ability to draft at one time or another. No one to blame for sucking other than Tepper, in my opinion. This has been the worst stretch in franchise history and it began with him.
  3. Nah, we are where we have always been since 2019 Ice skating up hill, with no hope of things changing Speaking of ice skating, Is it hockey season yet ?, the Canes don't dissapoint me untill the playoffs
  4. Did Princely or Scourton even play in this game?
  5. A lot of yall dont watch ball for real. This game was not on Bryce. When was the last time a QB looked pro bowl status in a Panthers uniform?
  6. I think its a bit reductive to say its about coachability. A new class of freaks enters the NFL every year and we do not have 1 Josh Allen per year to show from it. Far from it really. The reality is that Josh Allen is 1 of 1, and bad teams will continue to spend countless resources flailing at high ceiling project QBs in the first round. Saying its about coachability makes it sound like the QB development problem is solved. When the reality is, if you could reproduce Josh Allen, then Josh Allen would have no value. But the opposite is true. He's probably the MVP.
  7. The worst owner of all time(football wise) fell for it
  8. He did, but there were EARLY glimpses. Hell, his FIRST game starting he went for 245 yds 1 TD and 32 rushing yards. That would be a GOOD day for Bryce. The eye test showed he belonged, he just wasn't consistent.
  9. lol josh allen looked pretty bad there for a while
  10. He’s the best QB in the NFL right now. I’ve been saying that going back to the end of 2023. He has done more with less. Give him what the Ravens have and I think he’s got multiple Super Bowls at this point. I know Ravens fans and other people thought Lamar deserved the MVP last year but Allen, and really their last two match-ups, showed why Allen won it. I don’t know if the Bills have the team to win a Super Bowl but they are good, and that’s because of Allen. Watching them makes me realize the Panthers will never compete so long as Young is the starter. He just doesn’t have “it”. Maybe it’s a bit unrealistic to compare but Allen’s arm strength is pretty demoralizing. He threw for 251 yards, in the 4th quarter. Bryce has thrown for 251 yards once or twice?
  11. So true. Even with Josh Allen's first rough couple of years, you saw the potential with him. He just wasn't consistent, but he would rip off HUGE games both passing and rushing that would make you go "yeah, this dude has the chance to become something". Bryce has NEVER shown that. Not one game where you go "wow, this kid will be a beast". It's been the same sh*t since his first regular season game to now. Xavier Legette the same thing. TMac today definitely looked the part. Just too bad we paired him with one the worst QBs in the league
  12. At this point I don't know what the solution is...we have like 5 DUDES on this team and that's it. We have an offensive minded guru coach and our offense is as anemic as it has EVER been. Did you ever think you'd be having fond memories of Mike Shula? We had a historically bad defense last year, changed a ton of players, and might be WORSE this year. I'm due to walk away from this team for 3-5 years like before Cam.
  13. What are you talking about? <edit: I'm confusing him with someone else> didn't even go first overall, and if you believe Bill Polian he was never even an option. Everyone knew Jamarcus was a huge bust risk, and everyone knew if he went to Oakland is was going to be a disaster. The only reason he was taken was because Al Davis was senile. That was a terrible draft for QBs and basically everyone else in the first round is a hall of famer. I mean the only other qb taken in the first round was brady quinn Bryce has had INSANE amounts of hype since he first arrived at Alabama. Almost every single one of his games was on primetime during his college career. Unlike Leaf, he actually won the heisman, and a whole bunch of other awards. He's probably the most popular bama qb in the modern era. One of the reason so many in the media are still hanging on to the Bryce hope is how wrong all of them were about him, and he doesn't give them a convenient hand waive excuse like Leaf or Jamarcus.
  14. Lol, I forgot how many people here need training wheels to read. My bad! From now on pawagwaphs, got it!
  15. well he hadn't played in a year because jesus told him to hold out for more money. a lot of people forget that. he absolutely had a longer panthers career than Bryce will
  16. It came from Canales because Bryce is his QB. When all you've got is a, er, uh, hammer...
  17. That's the thing with Josh Allen, it took a while for Buffalo to fix him and his throwing motion. If he's not coachable, he's a bust and out of the NFL in 3 years.
  18. That's even more fools.... because he wasn't when he was drafted.... he was just coachable
  19. That doesn't necessarily make him a bigger bust Look, I'm not remotely defending Bryce, my history here has proven that I'm anything but a fan. But I think people forget the hype around Wilson and Lance vs the amount of non hype there was around Bryce except for a few small number of people. That alone is why I just can't get to where I rank Bryce with those all time bust labels. Even guys like Russell and Leaf had supreme amount of pre-draft hype around them, levels Bryce never reached in the lead up to that draft.
  20. It was obvious after 3 quarters he's legit. Most of the time you can tell pretty quickly on the great ones. Cam was obvious after one game. It's the eye test. Meanwhile, some are still trying to convince themselves 30 games in that Bryce can just be an average QB. He has never looked the part.
  21. Also he was widely the #1 ranked prospect in that draft.
  22. Today
  23. Yeah I'm not against picking someone with physical tools. But Josh Allen is creating a lot of fools gold in front offices' eyes. They still have to be good at football at the end of the day.
  24. Trey is the backup QB for SD, Zack Wilson is the backup for Miami. I don't think BY is even a NFL caliber back up.
  25. Honestly it depends on your definition of bust. I think there is an argument to be made that he's not even Top 2 since 2021, and that's coming from one of the bigger anti Bryce people here since before we even drafted him. I think Zack Wilson and Trey Lance both had more pre-draft hype than Bryce did, maybe by a wide margin, and both of them ended up turning out even worse than Bryce has. Plus the 49ers gave up almost as much as we did for Bryce to take an unproven raw D2 QB who hadn't played in a year because Covid shut that level of football down. While the Jets turned down all sorts of big offers to take Wilson as well. We made Bryce a bust by making the trade and then taking him, despite him not being liked by many analysts for the same reasons that was clear to so many of us fans. It was widely talked about being a bad QB draft, so much so that the Bears stuck with Justin Fields for another year and traded away the #1 pick because of it. So as bad as Bryce has been, I honestly don't think he ranks near the top of the all time busts list, mainly because I think people forget he wasn't some can't miss prospect and we're the idiots who made a bad trade to take him to make it just look worse.
  26. I think we should go for the next 5’8 180 kid. Damn our history with the 6’5 250 one lol
