the panthers do not have the personnel to play man across the board against the rams. very few teams in the league do. Instead of having a WR settling into a zone in the middle of the field you'll have one running full speed wide open when they catch. Panthers are trading yards for time hoping they can tighten up in the red zone because they're protecting a 4 point lead. this is basic stuff. there's a reason harukia nakamura doesn't have a statue outside the stadium.

It was not the best game by our OL but you also have to take into account that Bryce is quick to bail on pockets so he can see the field. I've watched him do this more times than I can count. Instances like this only exacerbate difficulties for the OL and make the defenses job that much easier.

I can't imagine him not going to the Falcons.

I'm not talking about solely blitzing, play man and if they beat you deep so be it. Make Stafford make tough throws with his hurt hand instead of the most easiest 10 yard completions sitting in soft zone. How the fug are you gonna make it hard on a QB when his WRs were literally WIDE OPEN across the middle. It doesn't matter if he blitzed when you are giving 10 yard cushions and he can just get rid of it in 1 second for an automatic 1st down. I don't give a fug what nobody say, that was the worst possible outcome in that scenario. You man tf up and either double Puka or send the blitz, and if you get beat deep then we get the ball back with ample time instead of 38 seconds.

I think it was one of his better games this year. The problem with Bryce isn't his performance in the playoff game, it's the many other games during the regular season that he looked embarrassingly bad...

for the last 3 years byoungs qbr and passer rating at the end of each season has him somewhere between 30th and 22nd for qualified passers he hasnt really improved much over the 3 seasons from an average qbr and passer rating bottom of the league for nfl starters

Time to throw doesn't mean time without pressure. I havent watched the tape yet, but it seemed like our pass blocking was pretty awful.

His shtick, the I hate Bryce shtick. We have a small number of fans in the stands screaming how bad our qb sucks when he misses a pass, while the rest of us are having a great time supporting our team in the playoffs. You don’t go scream about how poo you think your quarterback is in a stadium full of fans cheering for the team and him. It’s fuging weird.

interesting enough his qbr was basically the same the first 8 games he played and the last 8 games. i believe like 22nd in the total nfl.

How is mrcompletelys bryce hate the cause of the fights?

When evaluating a QB the eye test goes hand in hand with the statistics. Anyone with a functioning brain knew Cam Newton in his prime was a cheat code more often than not even if his accuracy was sometimes maddening. Bryce Young has now played 3 complete seasons of football and he moves the ball through the air on average at a very low rate. Amongst the lowest at his position in league history. That isn't going to just suddenly change. It's who he is.

He has been one of the worst starters in the nfl for the past 3 years, he is not better than he is given credit for. You are seeing what you want to see and making up things to justify it

(I am totally against signing Bryce to a long term contract right now) I just think he’s better than he’s given credit for on here. Folks here think he is not an NFL quarterback. He showed he can play with the big boys when it matters.
