Being from the UK I’m a huge soccer fan and the podcast options are massive with a huge amount of fan based shows. And they get a poo ton of listeners. a well produced informative show would do well for a very popular team.

Gold is very tapped in to the team and gets a lot of exclusive access, being the point man for the team's radio partner. As far as I know, he is the only consistent post-game option out there for podcasts/yt. Listening to him right now, as a matter of fact. His knowledge of the team/game is remarkable. But, his opinions are almost always wrong... lol! It took him until like 2 weeks ago to admit that Bussi was playing better than Freddie. Gold swore it was all strength of schedule and Freddie still looked as great as he always had. And, he's so confidently (some would say arrogantly) wrong that I find it highly entertaining. I can see why he annoys others (including all of his former co-hosts) though.

12-11 is about what I expected for one score games. It's why many of us are skeptical of the gwd stat as meaning toooo much (I do think Bryce has a bit of clutch though). Do you know what his record was in games that were two scores or less? I was curious to check that out but never got around to it.

There aren't really any good Canes centered podcasts, that I have found. Ovies+Giglio is great and their coverage of the Canes is top notch. But, they cover all triangle sports and some national, basically general sports talk.

I listen to podcast on occasion. I find Adam Gold a bit more insightful than random posts on the Huddle.

Generally agree to this. Not being on social media helps. I do enjoy the odd podcast on my favorite teams but don’t listen to any canes ones.

Reminds me of turnaround specialists hired for dysfunctional companies. They’re hired to come in and make the hard decisions that boards and previous management could not bring themselves to make, and then are ‘fired’ after a year or two when the work is essentially complete. However, in this case, I don’t think Pete’s old magic is working on the Raiders organization.

I don't watch or listen to any pre- or post- game talk. Regardless of the sport, I tune in when the game starts. In this day and age, podcast, radio and TV sports talk people are a dime a dozen. I find it an incredible waste of time.

A developmental QB should have been taken in year two. Absolutely you have to buy a ticket to the QB lotto when he is your starter. Showing what he was showing, I mean. You do that, and even if you don’t hit you leave no doubt with him that we aren’t playing around. We have intentions of having that guy under center. If he wants it to be him, get on the stick.

I think a fully healthy Renfrow might have a place on this roster next season. When he was healthy, he was as good a chain mover as you will ever see on third down from the slot. That alone is worth roster consideration.

Adam Gold has only one opinion that matters and that is his. He is a good dude. But he puts a premium on how much hockey he knows because his relationship with Rod.
