XL makes a list of sophomore breakout candidates

McConkey was obviously better last year but that just shows those college stats he picked don't define pro success -

Mconkey had 3 games over 94 yds in his 3 seasons. During his best season he only got to 71 yds twice. No idea what you were attempting with this -
Just finished the game up on delay, my BIGGEST take way. Did Emily Kaplan get fake boobs?

A rookie with 3 different QBs in one season. (good and bad Young and Dalton). Some terrible drops, I am sure he still envisions the drop against Philly every day. Reduce the drop and more confidence in what he is doing is going to help him. I love AT,JC and TMac in our WR room but XL will be a big part of our offense. No way are we just going to slide a first round pick to the bottom of the pecking order because of a weak rookie season. -

Rip Vegas lol. 2 goals allowed at the end of the game. -
Will be interesting to see how the Caps adjust. They were thoroughly beaten in this game despite it going to OT and they knew it by getting chippy. If they lose game 2 they’re in a hole they might not be able to dig themselves out of. They played old and tired tonight and I think they might get swept.

ESPN showing some love on out draft class!!
DaveThePanther2008 replied to Doc LRB's topic in Carolina Panthers
He makes a good point about Wallace. In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls. One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers. Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks. I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group. I can see all three getting time on the field. If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field. Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell. Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast. He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from. -
Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7. These should be future starters and solid depth. When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks. You're going to whiff every once in a while. That was Hurney problem. He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time. It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well. We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use. If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time. It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers

She kicked ass. Obviously not the same but it’s an absolute pleasure to see this band live. What a great evening. -
At least we didn't choke like that in the playoffs

That's awesome!! How were they without Chester? Seems like the woman they got as lead singer has pretty good vocals -

We had a group of us at the Linkin Park concert tonight at Lenova. A lot of people were watching the Canes game so we went wild when One Step Closer played and Slavo scored -

Damn I put a few bucks on jarvis to score the OT winner. On replay, he definitely deflected the shot -
I think he was in his headspace and game 82 with the A meant something and snapped him out of it. He wants to win so bad that he sometimes tries to do too much.
-
Let’s not forget Freddie kept us in it to allow the win, stopping 13 of 14 with a .929 SV%. Slavin was THE man on defense and offense with the OT winner.

2 of the 3 have been already answered. It’s for the season, and the definition has been shared by several people now. The only one that hasn’t been answered clearly is “are they completions?” which I would assume they are unless they are using some other statistic to define it as a “catchable pass.”

I was honestly starting to think Svech might be trade bait, because he wasn’t really fitting in with the team that well this season. He’s completely come on during the playoffs though. -

He’s a great fit for the team. I figured he was just some throw in but he’s a legit prospect that’s already good enough to play at the NHL level.
