  1. Past hour
  2. I still think he would be an all pro RT or guard.
  3. Worrying about paying your good draft picks is a waste of worry.
  4. So we have a pretty tough schedule for the remainder of the season. I believe I saw where it's the toughest remaining schedule in the league. To even think about the playoffs we IMO have to, at minimum, win three of the remaining six. 49ers - We will have to play an amazing game to win this one. We are down to backups at LB (at least for now) and Kittle is probably going to have a big day. CMC must not go off on us. PFF had a pregame analysis and actually the two guys running the show were split on who wins. They even said it was disrespectful to the Panthers to be 7pt underdog. Evero is going to have to have a great gameplan. I'm on the fence but this game is in SF and I think we lose. Rams - We're at home that is about the only advantage I see in this game. LA is one of the best offenses in the league and I just don't think we have the firepower to beat them. The only way we win is if we can control the clock and keep LA's offense off the field. Saints - We have to go into this game on a mission. WE HAVE TO WIN THIS GAME. Hopefully, Canales has a better gameplan and we win. This is a very winnable game. TB x 2 - The only chance, IMO, of winning the NFCS is we have to win both games. Many talking heads say TB is faltering some and can be had. By week 15 and 17 we should be hitting on all cylinders. If we win, it's going to have to be a pretty mistake free. Seahawks - they have a very tough defense, and I think we get shut down. Our only hope is to pressure Darnold into mistakes like he did this past weekend with 4 INTs. As with the Rams we are going to have to keep this a low scoring game. My hope is 49ers- Win Rams - Loss Saints - Win Bucs@Home - Win Seattle - Loss Bucs@TB - Loss 9-8 Record My Fear 49ers-Loss Rams-Loss Saints-Win Bucs@home - Loss Seahawks - Loss Bucs@TB - Loss 7-10 record
  5. With Motons deal (stupid), Hunt, Lewis and Mayes and Icky upcoming our line is going to be the most expensive again in the nfl. Its going to be an interesting snap shot if this type of team building works.
  6. We have an easy out after this season with marginal dead cap. Could be smart given the situation and RB landscape. This part isn’t at you—but in general: None of these guys are world beaters — sure they have been great for us at times but I just hope we don’t get this emotional investment paired with financials. I don’t think we need to teget all antsy about keeping Dowdle when he’ll be 28 next year. I don’t mind just continuously taking a stab in the late rounds every year on one. We should not be investing in one guy in particular when they’re not really a game breaker. See: Sanders, Hubbard, etc. I’d say heck yes, take a shot at a guy high up if you’re convinced you’ve landed a Gibbs or Taylor level, but otherwise, don’t invest, don’t get emotional about a 3-4 game stretch. Reset and see what type of committee you can construct with fresh legs.
  7. yikes The biggest issue beyond Sellers’ control has been South Carolina’s pass protection. Entering this weekend, Sellers ranks as the second-most pressured Power 4 starter (139 times), behind only Texas’ Arch Manning. The difference? Manning has faced one of the highest blitz rates of any quarterback in college football; Sellers is among the least-blitzed QBs.
  8. Yeah I’ve seen it. It scares me cause I hate investing a lot of money in a player. Too many variables, from injuries to them getting the bag and not caring anymore.
  9. I disagree but we will see. His brother is a good nfl RB, it’s in his dna. He played for a loaded Georgia team so his stats aren’t great but that’s because he shared snaps with other good RBs. Georgia has produced a lot of great RBs. Look at his scouting report, basically says while he doesn’t excel at any specific thing, he’s good at everything. Put him behind our offensive line and he should be able to produce.
  10. hes about to get paid https://overthecap.com/position/left-tackle
  11. He never looked like a total bust. Its hard to read any so called sports media anymore.
  12. I don’t think no one was asking that, maybe you weren’t and it seemed that way to you. Plenty of people have pointed out that his good games are followed by bad ones, multiples. And how the team has been a week to week yo yo tbis year. Up down up down. In any event that is certainly the challenge this week. And is a challenge over these last 6 games for the QB in particular to show he can not go right back down to the bottom after a game where he looked like a real player. His track record to date is pretty much reverting to crap after delivering a game that would be worth the investment made in him and this offense. Can he break his pattern? We have sure been asking that. All that is what we are hoping gets answered definitively, this year. It desperately needs to be.
  13. I was always worried cause his strength was being a run blocker which isn’t what you want in your LT. I don’t think he’s the best LT at pass blocking but I think he’s good now. I just wonder if he’s worth paying top LT money?
  14. Then answer this question " which way does SCP's Panthers helmet need to face?" Answer that one and we can continue...
  15. Maybe last Sundays game will be his performance for the rest of the season. You never know.
  16. Run this is a toxic fan forum.. biggest bunch of know it all arse holes on the internet. All the decent posters left after Matt Rhules second season...
  17. I have predicted weeks ago that Morgan will extend Young 2-3 more years, further extending the agony and the ones that continue carrying water for Young will wonder why we havent won anything for the past decade.
  18. What this suggests to me is how dumb it is to spend that much to draft a kid not ready for the league. If the rookie contract does nothing but make their learning years cheaper you aren’t getting the advantage you think you are there either.
  19. We’re not rivals in anyway in my opinion. I’m rooting for you guys to do well the rest of the way.
  20. Just imagine nothing but screens to CMC all night long… because it’s coming. Defensively for us, this is a brutal matchup. Purdy is back and we’re facing an all world RB and TE, which just so happens to be the 2 positions our defense sucks at containing… and we have an almost nonexistent pass rush.
