  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder if the hammy is still an issue? He immediately reached for it after that hospital ball in the final PS game. I'd still rather have Renfrow on PUP vs. Moore active.
  3. Don't care about Cherelus, but in terms of Brown vs Simmons, we certainly made the right choice.
  4. So you are trying to make people ignore you? Sounds like trolling...
  5. I am not that surprised. His health issues have been significant. It was between him, Horn and Moore, and I guess the coach decided to go with younger/healthier.
  6. Oh my goodness thank you for pointing out this feature
  7. We have never had a receiver that is better at actually catching the ball than Thielen. He may be older and not as fast as he once was, but no one can legitimately say he can't catch. I think Coker and Sanders are pretty good at it as well.
  8. There is a 100% correlation between fans overreacting to Renfrow not being WR 6/7 on our depth chart and Clemson fans.
  9. You can’t tell me Moore and Tremayne are better playing WR than Renfrow
  10. I mean, you are sort of speaking out both sides of your mouth with that, right? So, one hopes we aren't treating these roster spots like lottery scratch offs. This is based in things the coaching staff have seen to believe these guys are worthy of the roster and have value to add. Not just "maybe this will work out." That being the case, the staff also believes that Moore adds more value than Renfrow. You can disagree with any assessment you want but it's pretty tough to make the "lottery ticket" argument work for Hunter Renfrow.
  11. 18 first downs last season as a 5th or 6th option. 3 TDs. Don't get the hate.
  12. well, what the problem w/ our offense? If you had to define the primary issues? well, David Moore is the total package of all those issues wrapped up into one player. So yeah, the feel good local product and watching his comeback was easily a better sell to the fanbase. There isn't going to be a TON to enjoy this year.
  13. I get Renfrow is easy to like but he is a year removed from the league in which he had some pretty pedestrian stats his last two active seasons. Throw in the fact he is already having some injury issues holding him back I can understand why he was released.
  14. Not Panthers games. We generally get our asses kicked.
  15. Lol, not a single condescending post was made in this thread until you, Mr. “put away the violin”. Derail, derail, derail then all you ever have to say is “oh you’re just carrying water.” I see it every day from you and I have made it a point to not talk to you for a while now, so you pretending like I’m some exception is hilarious. Everybody is tired of it dude, give it a rest.
  16. Horn and Tremayne are rookies with unknown potential and ceilings. I'm cool w/ that given we are a development team. David Moore just adds nothing to the equation. Doing lots poorly isn't really a plus. Hunter Renfrow is the best short route runner on the roster and would have been quick and easy pass option for Bryce to help move chains if called upon (no one gets open on this roster for Bryce to get easy throws).
  17. I don't get the vitriol for Moore. Just pretend he committed to Clemson. He's a decent player for a WR6. If a game comes down to him or Renfrow, it's on whoever was ahead of them anyway.
  18. This isn't exactly a rare thing, though. This does happen on a lot of NFL teams with guys they just know and trust. Rightly or wrongly. Horn and Stephens are the ones that reallu made me think they didn't have a high value on Renfrow.
  19. As bad as he was, I was more impressed with Bryce as a rookie than XL as a rookie.
  20. You are talking about WR 5-6 behind TMac, XL, AT, and Coker. Yes familiarity it something all coaches do. They bring on players they liked from the other teams they coached at. These players know the system with limited reps. Moore is a NFL special teams player who can fill in and play some outside WR. That's what you are at these deep WR positions.
  21. Not to mention he does have a lot of familiarity with Dave and Dan. I am not gonna throw a fit about Moore. Horn and Tremayne making it over Renfrow leads me to believe the Panthers did not value Renfrow nearly as highly as most thought.
  22. Yeah, he does have the option to hold out but he is betting on himself. Ultimately, yes he could lose a massive sum of money....but he has also MADE a massive sum of money, even by NFL standards.
