I have come up with something I call the McVay test. Take your QB, and trade him to McVay. You're now facing your former QB in a McVay led offense for a trip to the Super Bowl. Are you scared of that QB and what he can do l? If you are, hang on to the QB. If you're not, move on. I...I think I'd not want to face a McVay led Bryce. My answer would have been very very different a month ago.

Why do we have to keep listening to Tom Brady call games?
-
He didn't run the right route/ didn't flatten it out correctly based on the coverage.

Oof I forgot it’s a tom Brady game -
That was such a shittily called game by Payton, what was Denver doing there.
-
It was a helluva call, fooled everyone on D, except one dude who just happened to be stranded on the same side
-
I mean he was probably already a hall of famer stats wise even if he stayed with Detroit. He solidified it winning the Super Bowl with the Rams vs the Bengals. I think winning another ring this year would mean he's an instant first ballot HOFer

I think he would retire and be a hall of famer with a 2nd ring. Probably makes McVay a shoe in as coach as well -
I guess I'm cheering for the Sea Chickens. Even though I'm not really a fan of any of their players. I'm vaguely wondering if Stafford would retire if he wins another Super Bowl this year. He'd be 38 going into next year with an extensive history of football injuries. Not everyone is going to be Brady and Rodgers playing into their 40s

Mike McCarthy... Well, that whole deal of only having x number of coaches over y years is going to be tested, especially with not really having a viable QB.
-
They are glazing the Rams HARD on the pre show
-
Has the patriots offense scored without the assist of a turnover this post season?
-
And I forgot to mention that Bo Nix got the Broncos to the AFFCG in his 2nd year, lol. Keep forgetting he's part of the 2024 draft class too. Definitely the hottest start to a 1st round QB class ever, that's for sure.

Stafford got his fake teeth lol. It’s a LA rite of passage -
That game tho

The QB we let walk away versus the QB that 99% of the fan base would have done everything to have has to be his worst nightmare. He may fire someone just to feel good about himself again.

Stupid azz Browns had Vrabl right under their nose....

Sam Darnold can’t throw the ball past the line of scrimmage.
Davidson Deac II replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree. And Sam Darnold year three was worse than Bryce Young year three. But there are so many things that go into it. What kind of a team does the qb have around them? How well do they interact with the receivers and offensive line. How well do the coach and qb interact? Does the coaches offensive philosphy match well with the qb's skills? -
Yup and it will be egg all over Tepper's face knowing a guy he kicked to the curb won a Super Bowl. Go Sam!
-
Tepper got antsy after witnessing 5 straight losing seasons and pushes the big red button to trade up and draft a QB he fell in love with. He literally talked to Bryce at the Super Bowl in 2023 and told him, that Tepper was going to draft him. Remember the dumb poo he said about Matt Rhule? Looks like me, smells like me, tastes like me? Tepper makes emotional decisions.
-
So much for the Jay-Z seven year plan, it only takes the right coach and a QB. The seven year cope is what it should be called.
-
Shittest game ever to have to root for one team...fk Payton...but I hat to see Pats back up in there....Fk u Josh Allen.
-
Out of the options I have to hope for a Darnold Superbowl win, I hate all of the teams left but he is a good dude
-
Panthers fan keeps the Broncos from going to the Super Bowl, it's only fair.
-
I would have been such a big fan of Drake Maye if he was on like 27 other teams. Why couldn’t a team I don’t actively hate have drafted him? Why couldn’t the PANTHERS have done everything they could to draft the hometown kid instead of a 5’9 QB who isn’t tall enough to be able to read a defense? I’m glad the Panthers are better than dogshit now but the wounds from the past mistakes cut deep and the scars won’t ever fully heal.
