  1. Past hour
  2. It's useful as others said for solutions, upvotes are arguably ideal for a solution/answer forum. For opinions, not so much. I also just hold a grudge against reddit for killing off forums
  3. I actually don’t blame them for drafting an XL type WR over mcconkey. They were looking for an X WR. Not a slot. Not saying I love the pick. Just that i kinda understand why they went in that direction. Now i think they thought they were drafting a plug and play WR which is not what they drafted. XL is a player you have to scheme open consistently. They don’t seem to be consistently doing that.
  4. Dan Morgan is the GM. Dan Morgan is also part of the brain trust that drafted Bryce and handicapped this org by doing such. We know it's easy for Tepper to admit mistakes. He does it over and over and over and over again. We don't know that about Dan. Sure seems when Bryce rose from the dead it cause Dan Morgan to make some really bad decisions. I think Tepper is a convenient boogeyman people morph to suit narratives. Does he great issues w/ his impatience? 1000%. David Tepper doesn't triple down on mistakes. For all his flaws, Tepper isn't stubborn. He admits mistakes probably too quickly. Tepper seemed to greenlight moving on last year 2 games in if they wanted it.
  5. AJ Green (also notice how much velocity Dalton has lost on his throws, it's startling):
  6. Well, we weren’t expecting success (rational people anyway) we were looking for signs of it in the future. Some people saw things that weren’t there they wanted it so bad.
  7. 1. Trading down to draft Jonathan Brooks in the second; 2. giving washed up Dalton an extension w/ 6M guaranteed; 3. giving Chuba Hubbard a contract extension with 14M guaranteed after you spent so much draft capital at the position: 4. trading into the first round to draft XL when McConkey was available.
  8. Again, I simply can't see how that's the case when you look around the rest of the building. Every other position group has improved (some out of sight) yet he's got a blind spot to the failings of Young and Dalton? I can't believe that.
  9. Renfrow,is a has been but that is better than s never never was ,so I feel for him because he has got a few more years left but with all the receivers we need young guys to get reps.
  10. Well this specifically is something that is being characterized a certain way by someone grinding an axe.
  11. I think Tepper actually does listen to folks he hires. I think he hires bad people. Nothing about David Tepper says he digs on mistakes and refuses to acknowledge them. At this point, I think the Bryce issue falls more on Dan Morgan than anyone. It was his job to fix the QB room for this season.
  12. I have criticized them for that. All the good that it does.
  13. Getting buy in from the players is a bad thing now? I'm going to assume he learned that from National Champion and Super Bowl winner, Pete Carroll.
  14. You what, fug off. You could have said that but want to be shitty.
  15. Yes. Our HC and OC has WR coaching experience. How they have handled XL development has been wild to me. Run game issues have been since buccs. He is always figuring things out too late in the run game adjustments/personnel even when rico basically laid it out for him in a 2 game stretch.
  16. Canales didn't turn the ball over 4 times and get sacked 7 times, my dude. If you want to criticise Morgan and Canales, criticise them for not being brave enough to stand up to Tepper about the QB room. I think, on the whole, they've done the rest of their jobs pretty well.
  17. All Tepper has to do is remove himself from the decision making process and he could get anyone to work for him.
  18. Did they say that before or after we traded up? Draft lying is an art. I know, for the millionth time, but I give no cred to a coach that wasn’t just being nice. If he really thought Young was the 1.1 or 1.5, he loses cred with me. An (relative to them) idiot like me could see it clearly. Unless that brain of his could levitate footballs it wasn’t happening.
  19. Dude is over his head. He’s a OC at max. This a clear sign, he can’t make tough or easy decisions.
  20. I thought he had really turned a corner after the Dallas game. Then he went full dipsh*t with the Rico/Chuba thing. I think we are stuck with Canales and Morgan unfortunately, there are better guys out there but not ones willing to work for Tepper.
  21. Nah, if Young is the starter the line will drop to 7.5 just to get folks to bet on the Panthers.
  22. We're playing the way we have to play on offense with our QB room.
  23. Oh so you do understand the evangelical grifter (charging 10k for appearances at faith conferences when he was a passing game coordinator for the Seahawks) and his evangelical grifter wife (“Christian motivational speaker”) have grifted David Tepper Great job, gum shoe.
  24. Yeah, I don't know about the sneaky speed. Sneaky quickness. Agree with everything else. But he definitely tries to big-man bully DBs. Doesn't always come down with it, but I think he needs more attempts deep to maximize his ability. Hate the way the team uses him as more of an underneath threat. If the defense is in Cover 0 or 1, then check to TMac jump ball. Every. Freaking. Time.
  25. Mike Evans made Johnny Football a first round draft pick.
