Drew Allar?
-
Realistically what is your expectation? Do you envision him coming back next year and suddenly running roughshod over defenses in 2026 and 2027 and then getting a big new contract? Of course it is theoretically possible. I wouldn't bet anything of value on it though. Being out of football your first two years in a new league at a different level is not something that can just be dismissed. There are very few rare football players who would go on to establish a really good to great career following such circumstances. I'd love to see Brooks become one of them. But those odds are not in his favor.

Coker nooooo!!!! Renfrow??
-
Well, Arch is out. Who are the Panthers taking No. 1 next April?
-
No he didn't, he was perfectly happy here until the Vikings badly needed a WR and showed interest. He didn't "want out" as you say, he just wanted this opportunity once it arose. I still think we should have played hardball and demanded more for him, not because he was worth it in a trade, but because he was worth more to to our team than the return we got for him.
-
Coker a huge loss. Got to think that was the most reliable target week 1
-
Renfrow clearly hurt Coker to get more money. Sneaky ole vet…
-
All the star players are a little rusty

Jocko Willink to Bryce Young: “Lost your best WR for 4 games ? Good.”
-
In theory I agree with you. But in practical terms it's not realistic. And the team got something for him rather than nothing at all. Don't hold your breath on getting anything from a league office that enthusiastically allowed our only MVP in franchise history to be headhunted multiple times on national television.
-
XL better turn in to a straight up DUDE. If Tet can do Tet things and XL surprises… then maybe we’ll be ok. Sanders going to get a ton of targets. Tet better channel his best megaton impersonation.
-
Arch looks like ass
-
A 4th is a decent return plus dumping part of his cap hit. You aren’t getting a 3rd for a WR his age on his last year.
-
Justin Jefferson would look bad if I was throwing balls to him. preseason game issue clearly a bad QB issue. Multiple hospital balls and throws to wrong routes
-
I don’t care. Morgan should not care either. We got a 4th it wasn’t like we got a haul. You stay and play or stay and sit out. No damn reason to just let him do what he wants because we want to be a nice FO and look good to other players. So stupid

Scourton - Collapsed Lung, Week-to-Week

You put the disclaimer, “as of right now”, in there for a reason. -
What in the world happened my goodness

I’m so shocked that you could watch a RB look like Barry Sanders in a Panthers jersey and call them a wasted pick. Shocked, I tell ya. -
If you want to take a glass half full perspective that's certainly your prerogative. But by the literal definition of the term waste as of right now that is what the pick was.
-
he made it known he wanted out per Morgan, this was never going to end well for the panthers

He was consensus RB1. We were able to draft him in the mid 2nd bc of his injury. Without it, we would have never had the chance in that spot. Call it whatever you like. -

He could look like Barry Sanders and it still means we burned 3 picks on a dude that will only play 2 years on his rookie deal. Dude, there is no jumping to negative conclusions, it was a stupid pick at the time and to this day remains a stupid pick. RB was not a need, trading up for said injured RB was beyond moronic -
We didn’t have to trade him. He was under contract. I hate this poo about “doing a vet a solid”. Do the fuggin team a solid instead.
-
Texas defense looking pretty good so far. Their offense, not so much.
